    Works fine for Sirius, radio and most devices. Phone access is not easy to use. Volume control is by small touch screen with no knob. My main complaint is it doesn't recognize my MP3 player. Steering wheel controls also don't allow changing music choices.

    Overall we were pleased. They cracked the dashboard and we were told that is very common and that they usually tell customers to order the replacement part before the installation and they will fix it if they do break but no one told us that.

    Sound is great. The Apple CarPlay does not work or was not installed correctly.

      Try using a different cable to connect your iPhone to the stereo.
      Make sure the installer is using the USB extension cable provided with the stereo. Sometimes they try to use factory USB ports and it will cause communication problems.

    Wish i knew it wouldnt work with my phone before i bought it. Cant get a single thing on the radio to work except the radio No instructions come with it either

    Bought this unit for my daughter and had Best buy install in her jeep. About 20 days before the warranty expired it started acting up -not turning on, disconnecting from Bluetooth, no carplay. She was away a college so couldn't get to best buy in time for warranty. Went the date as it wont even turn on now and they said no thanks its just over a year old. Where is the product support? I shouldn't have to pay extra for a warranty If the product is quality. I always trusted Pioneer but wow! just over a year and its dead! No help from anyone related to the purchase of over $600.

    Sound is ok, controls are not friendly, the description for use etc like Car play and Bluetooth are very deceptive.

    I will never go to bestbuy for anything that includes repairs or upgrades. I had this radio put in my ram truck which they stated worked for my truck. I’ve had it back there 4x and still isn’t fixed so now I have to take it to another shop and have another radio put in it. Wasted $700 then just had an iPad repaired they did t back nothing up and have to redo everything on it.

    Randomly shuts off

    Randomly shuts off, so it makes it impossible to use it. I have to fully take it out then it will randomly turn back on. Fuses are all good and wiring is all connected. Leaving it to be just the radio. Wouldn’t recommend at all. To pay like $450 and for it to not even work is unbelievable.

    This is a 2018 model. Last firmware update 2019. Poor video screen resolution. Sound is fine... Replaced with Kenwood 2 days later. BB .. zero issues replacing unit.

      While the DMH-1500NEX has been out for a while, there have not been any issues with the unit to require a firmware update.
