    after 6 months the buttons stopped working so unfortunately i am no longer able to use it but when it did work it would randomly freeze and restart not worth this kind of money

    This is a 2018 model. Last firmware update 2019. Poor video screen resolution. Sound is fine... Replaced with Kenwood 2 days later. BB .. zero issues replacing unit.

      While the DMH-1500NEX has been out for a while, there have not been any issues with the unit to require a firmware update.

    Randomly shuts off, so it makes it impossible to use it. I have to fully take it out then it will randomly turn back on. Fuses are all good and wiring is all connected. Leaving it to be just the radio. Wouldn’t recommend at all. To pay like $450 and for it to not even work is unbelievable.

    This radio was recommended by Best Buy as having wireless android auto. It definitely does NOT have wireless android auto which is why I returned it.

    I purchased this 7 “ radio, and was installed by Best Buy…within months my steering wheel controls ( volume up&d own and track changing) stopped working. I took it back and was told I needed to buy an upgrade adapter from the adapter I already paid for… 1 1/2 years later the radio stopped working. I get a blank screen, other times it comes on, but it’s frozen…I should have purchased a warranty..They just don’t make stereos like they use to

    I'm a bit disappointed in that there is not direct access to GPS and SMX with this product as I thought it would. Only through my phone. Otherwise, it is fine.

    I've always owned pioneer receivers, but my luck ran out with the purchase of this one. Bought as open box. Only had unit installed for about 2 months and I'm having source sound level issues, as well as unit going into protect and resetting randomly.

    Where to start. The sound quality is very good. That's it I have siriusxm. When I go to use it and try to change channels I get no signal. When I turn off the car and restart it I can sometimes charge channels. The picture quality for the backup camera is awful. When I used it on my Kenwood it was all good. This was supposed to be an upgrade but it's not. I'm taking it back.

    I had this installed about 2 years ago and recently it's been going dark or just not connecting. It's reliable about 60% of the time.

    I bought this to have it installed by BestBuy because “Free” installation was included. I booked my appointed for noon on a Monday and the day of they told me it was actually for 1pm. They rescheduled me for a week later and then canceled it without telling me. Best Buy then tried to charge me $200 for parts that I don’t need and were “included with Best Buy install”. So they messed my appointment up twice and tried to charge me $200 for things that are supposed to be included even though I didn’t need them. I’m done doing business with Best Buy.

    I got this to spruce up an older vehicle and I hate it. I am very much more into jvc products. It takes too long to load and its not that fantastic. Non of the apps for pioneer work for it like mirrorlink or web host and im not impressed if I could take it out for free and get my money back I would. Touch buttons work when they want to and the google works when it wants to. It is good for talking on the phone though
