    I bought this for my husband’s Christmas gift. He went to install it and it does not fit his model truck like the description said. Now I can’t return it because it’s after the return date

    Sucks, on the way back to Fallon from Reno, the unit blew up and shut down. Nothing in the manual on troubleshooting. Think it blew a fuse.

    we paid to have this item installed only to discover it was broken and then had to pay to have it uninstalled!! and had to buy a new one

    2 Years later. Solid unit

    I got this for my 07 Corolla about 2 years ago and I can happily say that this is the most solid option out there. Given that it is an aftermarket solution you will need a wired connection to get to carplay. In terms of installation there was promo for free installation so I cannot say much. I chose not to get this for another car because I wanted to go with what I thought could've been a better option. Turns out this is the best I threw $1,000 down the drain with the other system. But for something that just gets the job done. My personal pet peeve is that the only way to change the volume is by a small buttons on the unit. The corolla does not have steering wheel buttons however so your steering wheel function will be fine if you have volume buttons there. Overall this is a very solid and reliable system.

    Pioneer touchscreen

    Really nice radio with all the features I needed. Sound quality is great. Making calls is easy and conversation is clear and easy to understand. Touch screen works great and radio is easy to navigate. Installation was done by Best Buy and was done quickly but wasn't a quality job. I ended up reinstalling the radio so it looked nicer. While doing the reinstallation I noticed 3 of the 6 bolts holding radio and dash piece on were missing. I've had that piece of the dash off before so I know the bolts were there prior to best buy installation. Good thing installation was free or I would have felt I didn't get what I paid for.

    Put this radio in my 2001 civic, works perfect and so far its awesome. I love the fact that i can change playlists on the radio instead of having to go through my phone. So far im close to wiring the parking brake but i am glad that i can watch videos through android auto. Screen quality is immaculate and everything responds fast. The sound is also great, but i have not messed with the eq very much, just a smile eq. At first, i had trouble installing it as i had to kinda jig it up with another piece from amazon to fit my 2001 civic, but its lined up perfectly flush now. I can not comment on the microphone as i have not set it up yet. The rear usb port appears to be a pain, but i have not used it too much, only problem i could see is wiring it to go through a portion of your car. I only really use the bluetooth function, there is a problem which i am not sure if it is my phone, or the radio but at times when i change to a different app on my phone from spotify directly, the radio disconnects from my phone and ill need to turn my bluetooth off and on and reconnect it, if you encounter this problem i would recommend you not be in spotify when you turn your phone off, and have it on the side.
