The picture and sound is clear. Since I purchased the battery model vs hard wired it's recommended that you have a spare battery ready to switch out as soon as your low battery alert notifies you.

We decided to go with the Ring and we love it. The features are great and the community threads are also great.

After buying the Ring Doorbell we loved it so we purchased the whole Security System! After researching a lot of Security Systems we settled on the Ring System and we are So Happy with it!
