It keeps a eye on everything, tells me if there is a package, person ect. At my door..i bought one for my aunt because she lives alone, its cool to check the door from your phone if you don't want to open the door, you can talk to them from your phone..

Regarding the mounting bracket, Ring Battery Doorbell comes with a standard mounting kit designed for flat surfaces. At this time, a mount specifically designed for vinyl siding is not available as part of our product lineup. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve and develop accessories that meet the needs of our neighbors.
