I have always wanted a ring camera and I finally got one and when I tell you, it’s the best thing ever. Such a sense of security and it’s so refreshing to see what goes on at your door daily.

The only downfall is it takes almost 10sec of a delay before it notifies you but overall it was a great purchase.

It sounds like your Ring Battery Doorbell is not performing as expected. We would love the opportunity to share with you some troubleshooting steps that you can try to get your Ring Battery Doorbell functioning as intended. You can choose how often the camera checks for movement in those predefined zones via the "Motion Frequency" setting. If you find that your camera is missing some motions, please set the motion frequency to "Frequently." In addition, you can adjust the recording length for each motion event by following these steps:
Tap the "Menu" (☰).
Tap "Devices."
Select the device you want to adjust.
Tap "Device Settings."
Tap "Video Settings."
Tap "Recording Length."
Tap "Record For."
When the list appears, you can select a preferred recording length up to 120 seconds.
