I'm so glad I bought this ring doorbell. It works just as it's advertised and it's really convienant having your doorbell notify your phone when someone is ringing. You do need a membership to be able to watch videos saved on your ring doorbell. The basic membership is about $5 a month, and even if you don't pay it you'll still get a notification when someone is at your door. Without a subscription you can't see the recorded video, only live video. You also need a seperate subscription if you want ring to call emergency services for you. I just need it as a smart doorbell with a camera so it works for me! This is a really great purchase if you're looking to make your home feel a bit more "smart"!

I love the ring cam! I work out of town so I can have a live look at my porch anytime I want! The picture is clear in both the daylight and the dark. The sound quality is good, and connectivity is good (considering I'm borrowing Wi-Fi from the neighbor right this min). It was easy to install and setup!

I’ve owned several Ring devices and this one is on par with the other. The video quality is great and response time on picking up motion is great. Price is hard to beat for the convenience and reassurance it provides. Only inconvenience is having to charge the entire device instead of a removal battery.
