I would recommend getting the ring chime with it.

Love My Ring Doorbell – Totally Worth It!

Setup was super easy—took maybe 15–20 minutes, and the app walked me through everything step by step. The video quality is really good, even at night. I can clearly see who’s at the door, and the motion alerts are super helpful. I get notified the second someone walks up, whether it's a package being dropped off or just a neighbor saying hi. One of my favorite things is the two-way talk. I can chat with delivery drivers when I’m not home or tell someone to leave the package in a specific spot. It’s also great when I just don’t feel like opening the door.

You can draw a privacy area to not detect motion. I live in an apartment bldg, so it is very nice to be able to obsure my across the hall neighbor's front door.
