I ended up buying 2 1 christmas present and one for myself a week later. The charge holds well weeks at a time. I would had rated 5* BUT there is a $50 yealry subscription fee. I did not notice that mentioned on the box or webpage, if so I would had looked for a alternate brand. Overall would recommend just plan on adding a $50 plus dollars to purchase price.

Only negative thing I have noticed is if the sun is able to shine towards it the battery will die faster so have a back up battery if you want to have video while battery charges.

Without a Ring Home Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

We decided to go with the Ring and we love it. The features are great and the community threads are also great.
