Captures picture and sound well. I get a lot of notifications regarding community activity, but there is a way to limit this in the settings. It picks up a lot of motion activity.

Bought this as an upgrade from a basic doorbell camera I had. I love that the Ring notifies me when there is motion at my door. I really love that you can set boundaries for the motion detection so, for example, you don’t get alerts when neighbors simply walk down the sidewalk. Visitors can also leave a video “voicemail” which is nice. I wish the Ring worked with my current Google devices to at least ring through the speakers but I understand that the Ring is owned by Amazon and I will just need to switch to Alexa powered devices if I want this feature or buy the indoor chime kit.

Great camera. Easy to install. I chose the wireless option. It does need to be recharged regularly though. Be sure to put up those Ring stickers to warn strangers that they are on camera.

We love our ring doorbells. We purchased two, one for the front door and one for the back door. I know before Amazon delivers that I have a package at my front door, which is saying a lot. Backdoor works great too. I know when someone is in my backyard or under my carport.

bought the Ring doorbell to see the comings and goings on at my house. It installed very easy and works great. The only thing is the screws other than the security screws did not fit with my ring doorbell and the wedge that I got to attach the ring to my 4-inch vinyl siding. I had a second wedge that did not fit the ring, but the screws worked perfectly for attaching the newer wedge and the ring to the doorbell area. We hard wired our ring to the doorbell that was originally there. this ring came with a usb plug one star screwdriver, plus screws to just screw it right to your area with the wedge. The little security screws, instructions how to install it to your doorbell and how to get on to the ring app.O

I love my Ring doorbell! It gives me a sense of security that I need being disabled. I can see who is at the front gate and talk with them,so they know I'm home. I might be out but they can't tell. One of life's little things that makes my life better!

I bought this during the holidays and the price was unbeatable. It's wireless and the battery last a long time and was very easy to setup. Will be purchasing another one for back door.

Very good quality I have only had this item for about 2 or 3 days now and I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love it. It is so amazing and easy too set up. It only took me about less then 10 minutes too set the device up through the ring app. The quality of the video is very good. You can get real good details of your live footage and the subscription is only 4$ a month for access too your footage. And the good thing is that it is free for the first 30 days. If your looking for something too monitor your front door while your not home or while home but want to be aware of what’s going on I strongly recommend your purchase this. It also comes in handy because you can speak from your phone too the ring device through the app.

Quality of video is good, dont love the subscription they pidgeonhole you into but the price of the doorbell itself is great.

Live in an apartment and want to know the drama? This is for you! My husband and I suggest that you hold the camera up to make sure there are no blocked fields/view by a wall,etc. We bought this camera primarily to be assured when someone comes in while we aren't home. The benefits have allowed us to know our neighbors cant sleep and maintenance says they will get to it. It notifies us if there are any safety concern or annoyances from the neighbors app. That app can assume that everyone is evil but we love see the pictures of animals on it. Get your own Bravo Show drama straight on your front door and cell phone will very little effort on your part. Maybe your neighbors will gift you to with dramatic breakups and makeups!

Works like it's supposed to. Very easy to install and operate. Adds a new level of security to my home and makes it easier to run those short errands while expecting a package delivery.

One of the best investments I've made in the the last 5 years. Picture quality 1080p super clear. The video doorbell can be installed wireless or hardwired. I have mines wireless which works perfect just buy the solar charger to go with it

Good camera for a first time user of Ring products. We needed a camera that didn’t need wiring as we didn’t want to poke too many holes in our new house. This product was perfect for us. The only thing I don’t like is that at times the video cuts off so you don’t see the whole video of someone at your house or it lags a couple seconds. I have adjusted sensitivity and it’s still hit or miss.
