Bad product and even worst customer service from Sirus.

Took it back to store for refund. WAY Too many wires

Too many wires. Pain to set up. Poor sound quality.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. We had rented a car that had satellite radio and enjoyed the service. Best Buy had this model on special and I got a very good deal from Sirius upon signing up. Installation was easy, though a little time consuming as I wanted to be careful tucking the wire from the outside to the inside of the car. I do wish this came with an option for a suction mount rather than the permanent mount or the prongs that go in to the AC louvers.

This is a great radio for the price. It's all you need for your car. But...... i am a sirius subscriber. My old radio broke so i bought this one. I called sirius to activate and it turns out i can no longer get howard stern on this radio because this is an xm radio so i can only get the xm radio package. So ofcourse i said the radio states sirius/xm on the best buy site and doesnt say anything about the xm only package. The woman was polite but had no answer except the avtivation code in this radio is an xm activation code. So if howard stern or sirius specific chanels are important to you buy another radio. WTF SIRIUS.

Didn't want to replace the radio in my wife's car just because it wasn't a SAT radio so bought her this instead. Best Buy did awesome install of this in her Subaru Forester and hardwired it to the Aux port to reduce wire clutter. She loves it! Word to the wise though, do NOT add a radio to your contract if you already have one. Open up a new account and keep it separate otherwise you have to fight with them to get decent renewal subscription rates.

i am new to sat radio but i got tired of using my phone for radio so i figured i would give it a try. bought this unit and a fm direct connect kit only to find the vehicle dock is a fm transmitter so i only needed this unit and it works great

Yes, this is an XM receiver. I bought it to replace my Sirius receiver that had bad antenna connections. Some of the reviews were scaring me saying that you don't get Sirius channels, but I am glad I bought it anyways. I am using the antenna as before and signal has not cut out once, when my old one was cutting out constantly - now I know it was the receiver and not the antenna. I get an even clearer reception than before also. I get every channel I did with Sirius receiver, including Howard Stern channels, and then even more that I did not get before that are only available on XM. As far as I am concerned, I am getting an even better deal with more channels. The only down side to this receiver is that it does not come with a remote control, but with the dash mount I can easily reach it to push any buttons I need to.

This is a excellent radio, with excellent sound. I would recommend SiriusXM satellite radio to everyone.

Hard to imagine life without XM! I move this unit from car to car, in my travel trailer and on two motorcycles. Great device!

I just needed a simple satelitte radio for our upcoming trip. This was perfect

well i got mine today and the fm channels are being displayed on screen but the satellite aint working..... i have a 2004 nissan maxima.. i need help.. if anyone has ideas plz comment

i bought this radio yesterday - was charged $69;99. the guy at Best Buy made it sound so simple to hook it up in my car. what he did not say is that i have to attach the antenna from the outside to the outside - I have no idea how i'm going to do this. and I don't want to pay $85 to have them do it. On the way back to return it today.
