A: The Onyx EZ comes with all the vehicle accessories to play it in your car with the FM transmitter or with an AUX cable. But when docked in both the car kit or a home kit you can purchase, you can plug in speakers or head phones in the AUX-in port.
Q: What is a good replacement (update) XM for one as described below?
A: Your best options are to either use an AUX cable if you have an AUX port in your car. If not and your concern is around the FM transmitter, your best option is to purchase an FM direct adapter that, when connected to the back of your stereo and your XM radio powered on, it overrides your FM channels giving you better sound quality without having to find a static station.
