I previously owned the sportster 5 and when it died I had to get a replacement. This OnyxPlus is nice and I also enjoy the fact that on some music stations they put up a picture of the album cover from which the song comes from.

It stinks it does not provide monthly or any subscription so it's ok

Bought it just to listen to music. Local stations are limited and don't play to my listening taste. I highly, highly recommend getting the hardwire kit so to reduce the incessant plugging/unplugging of the cig lighter plug.

I don't know why I took so long to buy satellite radio and Onyx Plus is the answer to my prayers. No annoying talk or endless commercials. I love the music and the variety I can choose from everyday. Sometimes I just want to keep driving so I can listen to the endless fantastic music.

My mom got a new car and was used to listening to sirrius xm so we got her this radio to use in her car so she could listen to her favorite stations. My son installed it for her and she's good to go.

Bought this to replace an old radio. Set up was easy and radio worked good but after activating I found out this radio does not work on the old Sirius format it only works on the SiriusXM format. Ended up returning it for a different radio.

Have this unit in my semi. This is my second unit like this. Both units had the same problem where once in a while it won’t have a signal. With no reason for it. It does work good tho. Use it for 10-11 hours a day!

We subscribe to Sirius XM for both our cars and have been paying for our service for 8 years. This onyx system and speaker dock was intended for our backyard and occasional trips to the park. However; the monthly cost to add this extra service to our current account was too expensive to justify. The system and dock were returned without any drama from Best Buy. Our chosen alternative is an echo for the backyard using our home wifi. If we need music in the park or on a campout we will use the echo paired with our hot spot. Should have thought about alternatives before buying the Onyx.

If you are looking for the best that is out there right now, I think this is the one you are looking for. I bought this and never regretted it. If you listen to sports, you can set it up for score alerts and channel alerts. It is a must have in the car and home!

This is a must have for my family. Since everyone has different taste in music and radio talk shows you can't go wrong with an xm radio. Has so many channels, I'm discovering new music genres and listening to old favorites.

I'd give it a 5 star but the text on the screen on the radio display is too small. Maybe there is a way to make it bigger in the menu or settings but I didn't get to that yet. To me this radio was a great value and I've had satellite radio for a long time 10+ years.

My husband love this radio, we have and older vehicle and he like to be able to listen to other stsions when he's on the riad.

If you want Sirius/XM and your current system doesn't have it built in, this unit is a great addition. As long as you have an auxiliary input. For this price, it works great with our vehicle.

I bought this since I was traveling a lot from Colorado. This was a great investment at the time and still is, since I don’t have to change any stations going from state to state.

This product is a nice way to enjoy satellite radio in an older car. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to enjoy satellite radio in a car that wasn't equipped with it.

I was at several stores looking at the various Bluetooth devices and couldn't decide on which one to buy. We walked into Best Buy and every question I had was answered. I bought it there because they had the best price along with the best service.

This is a really nice radio receiver as it shows images and is in color. If you want to make the installation look pro it takes a few hours to fully hide all wires properly although it looks real good when done. A good addition to a radio with no Sirius XM tuner.

Amazing! Works great in vehicle. Easy to plug in to any standard car charge port. Gets good signal everywhere except if a tall building is nearby. Lots of channels to choose from.

Would like buttons to be a bit bigger however I understand the compact look and desire to have something compact. Also having trouble trying to get direct power connection to work properly. Using 12-v cigarette adapter for now.

Replacement of my 12 year old one which the screen blanked out… price was 1/2 off, so the investment to correct was easy
