I love having this. here in Boston/Worcester the classic and oldies stations here are all sold off. This is a great way to get your 60's, 70's and 80's fix. Ozzy's Boneyard and Hair Nation are a great bonus. The only thing i added was a windshield Mount i got from Ebay, to make moving it from vehicle to vehicle easier. I move this from my car, the wifes car, and my tractor during the week. I also got the Boombox as well and LOVE it!

This radio is has worked well for me since Sirius made me buy a new one. Dispense with tuning the radio to different stations, JUST USE AN AUXILIARY CORD! The cord that Sirius provides with the kit is no good. I used a Belkin aux cord that we had lying around, it is thicker and will feed sound to all speakers. If you live in an area with lots of radio stations, you will go nuts tuning this thing all the time. While driving east on a heavily wooded road, the foliage will cut out the signal. This is annoying, but I do mostly highway driving and there are almost no issues there. I get over it. I got the lesser model at first, but I missed all the features of my old Starmate7 that I used to use. The Onyx Plus is worth the upgrade.

I installed this in my 2015 Toyota Rav4 LE between the power ports. The power port is easy to use with the wires kept out of the way, the AUX port is there as well, making the install somewhat cleaner. The supplied 3M adhesive was unable to hold it in place. A quick trip to ACE hardware and 3M heavy duty velcro fixed that problem, and makes it removable as well. I snaked the antenna up by the defrost vent and still get good reception.

An improvement over the analog receiver radio with XM that I purchased a few ears ago

This radio inspired me to resubscribe to satellite radio. The new feature of being about to create your own station by using TuneMix was brilliant. Now it shuffles songs that have previously aired on my favorite presets. This allows me to hear current songs shuffled with 80s, 90s, etc. The new 2.0 extra channels is also very neat. Stations most of the portable and car units can't receive. Definitely an excellent upgrade to an old radio or a new gift!

Works just as well as the one that came built into our other car! The reception is similar and I certainly would have the geek squad instal the radio if you cannot. I also bought the home kit and use it not only on my home stereo but also can play over my portable bose soundlink I and take this setup onto our boat.

I'm a Deputy in Texas and my patrol unit (Tahoe) didn't have a good fm/ am radio due to all the interference of the equipment in the car. I was stuck listening to only one station that came in clearly all over the county I purchased the Onyx Plus receiver, purchased my SiriusXM subscription, and now I can clearly listen to multiple channels. The built in fm transmitter in the dock works great, and have no issues with the product. I also get to listen to MLB, NFL, and NBA games. I'm so happy I purchased this product. I would recommend it to a friend.

Screen a little small to read. Channel numbers are missing on this display. Easy to set up up and use. Comes with large number channels turned on for demo. Company open 5 days and 1/2 Saturday. If transferring from old acct can be done on line but the code from old unit and new are needed. Code of new is also on box. Fm transmission is poor best with aux input.

I bought the unit nearly 7 years ago at my local bestbuy. It was installed onsite by a tech who did a great job. 7 years later this is still going strong. There are some great features in this radio that are amazing Rewind Feature - You can go back on any station in your favorites button. If you are in the car for an hour it allow you to jump around to music that played. It does not allow you to go back if you just got in the car but it's a great way to skip songs you don't like by going to another station and back Durability - My unit is over 7 years old and still going strong. I have no no issues with it! Screen - The color screen with the ability to lower the lighting is a great feature Buttons - all of the buttons are responsive and 7 years of mashing them has not changed that I would recommend this if your a commuter, it's much cheaper then getting it built into the car and has more features.

We Love the XM radio but now why do we have to pay extra for the home dock. They use to have different packaging that allowed you to buy radio with either car or home kits, so you got what you needed for where you were planning to use it. Now they only come in car kit version, which I think is crazy since now many cars already have the built in.

My new 2015 Honda Civic did not come with a SiriusXM radio and I couldn't justify the dealer cost for them to install one so added the Onyx Plus radio. It worked OK using the FM transmitter but I was much happier after adding the Sirius FMDirect adapter. Without the adapter there was quite a bit of static on and off during my travels in New England. Once I added the adapter nearly everything is very clear. The Civic 2015 does not have an AUX audio port by the way so a direct audio connection is not possible which why I had to go through the FM and, ultimately, direct wired into the FM antenna. I'm really happy with this radio and I'd by another if I need one.

Awesome Satellite Radio!!! It finally has the features that (Tunestart) that have been on the internet app for awhile now. This is great in the car and at home (if you buy the home kit which is totally worth it!). This replaced another great Satellite Radio that was great but didn't have all of these features. Well worth the money!!

NO remote with radio!!! MAJOR FAIL! Why would they not include a remote with this radio/kit??? Going to return to the store for this reason alone. Other than no remote its great.

EASY TO USE, ENJOY THE TUNE MIX FEATURE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO LISTEN TO YOUR PRESET STATION RANDOMLY WITH HAVING TO MANUALLY CHANGE STATIONS.

They finally got these add on attachment satellite radios to function in a convenient and intuitive way. What could they do better?... Increase the signal intake buffer to allow a longer period of uninterrupted listening when you drive through a thick forest or behind a canyon wall. For those using the FM broadcast function they could offer a much faser and direct way to change the FM channel when on a roadtrip and traveling through many communities.

I had it professionally at Best Buy. The gentleman at the Best Buy in Lacey, WA did an outstanding job. The installation was professionally done. The channels are very clear. Being able to pause and rewind favorite songs/shows and store up to 20 preset channels are a plus. I strongly recommend this product.

Very good radio. The presets buttons could be larger. The power cord could be longer.

We got this for my dad for Christmas and he uses it all the time. He is a satelite radio junky. He is able to listen to it in the garage while he is working. It works great!

Item functions great. The only negative thing I would like to mention is the fact that this device still relies on an FM tuner vs Bluetooth for wireless radio integration.
