Doesn’t work anywhere near as good as the car radio. Would not recommended it to anyone but the desperate user.

So much static can barely hear anything else. I would not buy

Very useful for a small car. Had one in my other car but sold it and this is the replacement radio.

To much wiring to deal with (unless your a fan of long, annoying wires, then go for it).

bad reception would not recommend this product works only in certain places

These portable standalone units are the perfect alternative to factory installed vehicle satellite radio. To save a lot of money on a new car, I opted to purchase a model (almost fully equipped) without pre installed satellite radio. The car doesn't have the fancy looking shark fin mounted antenna but I am enjoying the exact same programming everywhere, every time. The unit is easy to install and I know that the sound quality generated via my car's auxiliary port rivals factory installed SAT radio. I know this because my pickup truck has a factory installed satellite system. The bottom line is that these self-install units are a logical SAT radio alternative that does the job well, not to mention saves a ton of money on a new car bill.

I bought this to replace an old portable satellite radio I had. It work great, and is easy to set up. I have kits in several vehicles so that we can move the radio to the car we are driving.

I had this hooked up in my SUV in 15-20 minutes. Low cost solution if you're interested in satellite radio.

So far so good with this radio. Had it professionally installed (not at best buy) and it works great.

Purchased this to replace my Onyx that quit working. Even though it says on the box it supports A La Carte programming, SiriusXM doesn't support it on this radio any more... according to their Customer Service. A La Carte was one of the reasons I bought this particular radio, but after asking to be bumped up to the next level of Customer Service, they gave me the Select subscription for what A La Carte would have cost. I also has a small issue with the antenna port on the radio. It loses connection unless I secure the antenna cable so it doesn't move when hitting bumps in the road.

DO NOT MOUNT IT ONTO YOUR AIR CONDITIONER VENTS, I DID THAT AND AS SOON AS I HIT A BUMP IT BROKE MY VENT.

I bought this radio because it was cheap and portable. I wanted to try siriusxm for the 3 months then switch to a monthly plan if I liked it. Yeah, now I’m going to have to pay for service just to see if I like it?? False advertising!!

This replaced a very old Audiovox unit I had, but the old one was better. The antenna port didn't last too long and eventually the signal would constantly cut out unless I held the cable into the radio. The radio also lacks many features such as the alert other radios offer where you can have it notify you when a particular song, artist or team is playing on any station. The screen is outdated.

Love the size, clips onto vent. However buttons are a little small. Screen is easy to read.

DO NOT BUY THIS!! I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS!! It is the worst product ever!!! The unit and base do not make good contact and you are left with a unit that only tells you to check the antenna connection. Look on the internet, there are 1000's of complaints against these units! Sirius needs to stop making these docking kits!!! They do not make good contact with each other and do not work! Buy $100 radio that is sirius xm compatible and install it yourself or have it installed professionally. You will be so much happier!!

Can connect directly to aux input jack or else has a built-in FM transmitter so you can play through the car radio.

I have been using my Stratus 7 for weeks now and have had no problems. The screen looks nice and the unit is quite small and light. I don't like wires showing but they proved to be relatively easy to hide in my SUV (for the most part).

The title for the radio mentions SiriusXM but this is a Sirius only radio and you are limited to Sirius only subscription packages. So you get less channels than with a SiriusXM radio at the exact same price. The radio itself is very cheap and the buttons are garbage plastic. Spend a few extra dollars and get a SiriusXM radio that's not made out of cheap materials.

My wife has been happy with this item, overall; however, too frequently the reception is interrupted.

Has a wide variety of music choices, and great for all ages
