I put this stereo in an 89 Ford F-Series in place of an aftermarket Pioneer stereo I had put in last year, which had quit working already. The stereo was as easy to put in as the Pioneer. The display on it is alright, nothing too fancy. The volume knob is kinda touchy which is a pain if your adjusting volume and hit any kind of bump. The subwoofer level adjustment is a nice touch, as well as the built in 7 channel equalizer. Overall I think it's just alright. For the cost (it was $80) I had expected a little more. On a separate note, I'm reviewing a head deck. Why is there a rating for "sound quality"? If I had the greatest head deck of all time and the worst speakers of all time, it's only going to sound as good as the speakers let it sound.

Not a bad stereo for the price. The Siriusxm direct input is so nice to be hidden away behind your dash compared to the after market adapters offered with the detachable units. The volume button is a bit more sensitive than it should be, which causes a problem, especially driving over bumpy roads.

Works well with my iPod, but I was disappointed to find that it does not work with my Motorola smartphone. Also the different settings for the equalizer could have a better user interface. I would recommend this to others because, for the very low price, it is very useful.

Works good. Good value. Does everything that I want with no problems. My only issue is the controls aren't as intuitive as other radios I've had. Also it doesn't connect to XM using my existing XM equipment.
