Good purchase for a multiple household child . My son travels back and forth from his mothers to my house . This has definitely helped !

This may not be for everyone but for me it’s perfect. This device is mainly if you want to play on bed or if you have someone wanting to use the tv and you want to play. It has great build quality and I haven’t had any technical problems. My only complaint is I tried playing away from home but no internet is strong enough but in my opinion whose really gonna leave there house with it

This is literally too bad overall because I LOVED THIS THING. It really really really needs it's own connectivity (besides a hotspot or a travel router) for on the go gaming. Other than that, it was perfect. It's great if you are sitting in the same room as your PS5 or even perhaps in another room or even outside (depending on your setup). It just really needs it's own feed. If an ASUS steam deck and the portal had a baby, I'd buy it.

Out of box purchase. Everything was included. The system was clean and practically brand new. I use the hell outta it when my son is asleep in the room and i cant use the tv and speakers. I just hook up my headphones and im good to go.

Bought for son as open box item, at big discount. Cords and portal still in wrappers, like never openef. Son loves it, cause doesn't have to wait for tv to pkay playstation now. He plays online games with no issues.

It's literally a WiiU gamepad for Playstation. If you think of it that way, you will enjoy it.

I got tired of always playing my PS5 in front of the TV. This device fixed that. It is solid construction, well balanced, comfortable, lightweight and has a beautiful screen. Battery life is excellent and it comes with the Dual sense/haptic feedback we all love. $200 is a reasonable price (considering a Backbone is $100). I use this device a lot. I do need a hardwired connection before attempting to play it outside the home. Time will tell if the controller gets stick drift. 5 stars for now.

I love the PlayStation Portal but I have a specific use case. My PS5 is in my living room and I want to play PS5 while in the bedroom while watching TV. This works well for this. The feel of the device feels great and it has a nice, large screen. I tried to use things like the Backbone but could never find a screen that was this large that would fix the Backbone. I really need to bigger screen to play these PS5 games. I can see this device could be a problem for someone that wants to play PS5 games outside the home. I have never tried doing this and don't see a use case where I would need to do that at this time.

Perfect to play from bed or when other are using the tv

My son is very happy with this PSP, you will need wifi Connection to use in any place.

When I first bought this product I quite frankly did not enjoy it due to the connectivity issues. Through my research I’ve discovered that the issues has be corrected and may purchase this again after returning it.

Haven’t had this device long, but so far I have enjoyed the ease of connecting to my PS5 when I’m out and about. As long as the internet is accessible and able to provide the minimum recommended internet speed it has worked fine. The display screen is nice and bright syncing to my PS5 with very minimal lag. Wish there were a way to save games on the device but I’m pretty that will come as time passes. Maybe not in this model but who knows.
