Just like the steam deck opened up possibilities for me to play games in my steam collection which I have not touched in a long time, so did this beautiful device. Yes I was disappointed when they first announced it that I would not be able to do cloud streaming onto it without a ps5, but despite that, I am thoroughly enjoying the freedom this gives to play wherever and whenever I want around the house. Been on a MHW binge with all the rage after Wilds announcement. What a blast.

I really enjoy using this, especially when the TV is in use by other family members. I'm a dad, and being able to play PS5 handheld is great when anyone else wants to use the TV. I wouldn't use it to play frame dependent games like Street Fighter 6 due to input lag, but it's great for something like Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, where timing doesn't need to be perfect. 8/10 definitely recommend it to parents that want to play PS5 and share the TV.

Amazing product! It’s everything I asked for and then some! This product allows me to play from my bed or anywhere else on a strong wifi connection! For example I am in NY and my PS5 is on at my house in Boston! Nifty and convenient product on the go. Best Buy was able to help me in tremendous ways and the easiest way. After about two months of waiting i was finally able to track one of these down! And I absolutely love it not having to be in my office to catch up on some games is awesome! And yeah i could've gotten a backbone sure but that ties up my phone , this is dedicated remote play which made ot easier to connect, set up, and get right to gaming! The lack of support for earbuds beyond the sony ones is a bit of a let down but i have it on low (its gets pretty loud) and go from there!

The Portal is an absolute amazinv way to experience your entire Playstation library. I sm blown away by how smooth the gaming experience is both cloud streaming as well as streaming from my PS5 pro. 10/10

The PS Portal is certainly not for everyone. I think it only appeals to a small variety of people. Remote Play seems to be only popular with hardcore Playstation gamers. I got it because my parents watch a lot of TV, sometimes they binge watch shows for hours and I get bored and sometimes want to play a game or if i'm playing something that is inappropriate or something not of their tastes I would play the PS Portal on that specific game. When it works it works, but I recommend connecting it to a 5G network as I ended up doing, not a 2 GHZ network. While the overall functions are good it's a shame the Streaming services seem to be blocked and that would have been a great selling point to stream shows on the PS Portal as it has a really great screen and very useful when you need it. It isn't perfect but there is certainly room for improvement.

PS Portal was a great purchase. When my family is using the TV in the family room I can still play my PS5. Have taken it to other places outside my home and connected via the hotspot on my phone. It use to disconnect while in the house sometimes, but I connected my PS5 directly to the router instead of via wifi and the portal hasn't lost connection once since then. Would recommend if your on the fence about purchasing. Wish Sony offered an official case for it though.

I get that the Portal is somewhat divisive but I kind of like it. I get to keep on playing when my girlfriend wants to use the TV and that's all I really want it for. I personally wouldn't use it for anything competitive (EAFC for me) or any game that requires quick and precise movement (any FromSoftware games) but it works well for anything else.

The graphics are very good. Screen is very clear. I like how it fits your hands. The only things are it lags really bad on games from your ps5 and you have to Sony ear buds to be able to listen to sound.

The only thing I dislike about this product is you really need a strong internet for it to work

I love the option to stream games. Sometimes the connection to my PS5 isn’t the best but that may just be due to my WiFi.

Good product I wish it came with headphones but I’m satisfied

Got it for my Son for Father's Day!! He loves it, he can play anywhere and free up the TV for other family members to watch

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. It’s super responsive and makes playing away from the TV a breeze.

I really love this controller and the standalone cloud gaming! Totally recommend it, whether you have a PS5 or not – it plays games without one using cloud gaming.

I love this system! It’s so much better than using my iPad and mobile app. The screen is excellent quality and it’s well made! I’ve really enjoyed it. Only thing that would make it better would be to be able to connect any type of Bluetooth headphones

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it!! The only thing we wish would could change is being able to play on the PS5 while he plays on the portal. Other than that’s it’s an amazing system to take on the go.
