[Employee of bestbuy] when i first purchased, i was skeptical. You do need an really good internet connection and it does require your ps5 to be in rest mode, and connected to wifi, but if your ps5 is hardwired to the router, it should be no issue. There was a recent update that makes the portal its on device persay, as long as you have the Premium tier of PS Plus, you can stream games directly from the cloud, no PS5 needed. The catalog right now isnt to big due to it being in beta, but it definitely makes it worth it now

Perfect for on the go and official Dad product. As a parent with 2 young kids this has become my go to device after winding down for the day.

It is a really good item if you spend a lot of time out of the house but the device depends on the WiFi signal on both your PS5 and your portal. If the signal on either are interrupted or poor it doesn’t work well.

It works great, even when out of the house with good Wi-fi and the PS5 connected by ethernet. PS5 must be left on rest mode.

Took this thing on my trip and it was amazing! Yes it stutters at times but it’s only a cloud streaming device but it’s super cool!

This won’t be for everyone, but those that will use it will love it. Its great. I love being able to play in bed before night without having to be in the living room. Will also be great when I travel for work and can play from the hotel room.

Super fun and excellent picture quality if you have the right bandwidth to support it. You can stream games straight from the catalog and that's been a good addition.

I have a lot of downtime at work and when im thinking about my ps5 i think about my portable ps5 and go ham, and have all the fun until its time to go back to work but I love it

Works great, I waited on this purchase because I was hoping for a little more Versatility, and with the newest update this streams games as well as remote play.

Requires solid wifi connection both ways for the remote play to work. Best for story based games not competitive multiplayer. Knew this before buying. I took it on vacation to mexico and was able to use it well with my system in Michigan.

Had it for a few weeks now. It runs great on home wifi. Playing single player games is awesome. Running on hot spot is 50/50 depending on your signal. But I'm impressed with the portal.

I love this thing! I’ve tested it out in various settings and it performs wonderfully.raps and bounds better than when it launched.

Great little device for what it was designed to do. It does need a few things to make it better that might be coming in software updates. Needs cloud streaming, a way to connect directly to the PS5 and should have had Bluetooth.

Nice for people with a good internet connection who travel or who don’t want to hog a tv all day. The only issue is connecting to public WiFi spots with a landing page. The portal doesn’t have a WiFi browser so you won’t be able to connect if you need to accept terms.
