Ive bought this and was excited to move around the house but it is a bit laggy. Ive tried different wifi strength but same deal. Ok over all.

Im a video gamer. It's a smooth way play games even when you are away. You don't necessarily need the PS5 console as long as you subscribe a PS plus. Very good item

Absolutely beautiful handheld I just wish it had a batter stand alone option.

It is like you are playing your ps5 on this display literally. It’s a mirror image of your setup. Specifically when you are on the same network as your ps5. I haven’t tried it outside of my network.

Looks very fashionable and great feeling to hold it.Only problem is works well with stable wifi from 15mbps going up. so some phone networks might not work well with the device which will make it useless.

It’s great when you have strong ping and router! Economics feels great as well! The speaker is great as well! The screen is great! Everything about it is great!

Great portable console for remote gaming. However if you’re trying to play a fast paced online FPS game such as Call of Duty, there is a lot of lag. I have a very high speed internet at home (1 gig) and I use a high end router (ASUS ROG GT6) and the PS portal still experiences lag with FPS games. However, for one player solo games, it works pretty well.

Love this product so much. The lag is super light and so I am able to play just about anything without noticing it.

Best thing PlayStation has ever done! The fact that you can play online, play games from PlayStation plus and it mimic the actual PS5… I recommend everyone that’s a PlayStation fan to buy one

At first I was skeptical due to the Portal being cloud streaming only, however I’ve been thoroughly pleased with my purchase. I do want to add that I have a stable and high speed fiber connection, so your experience may differ from mine. Also if you’re on a network with lots of pull on your WiFi bandwith, I would use a second router attached to your ISP modem via Ethernet to give the PlayStation Portal first priority. It doesn’t take long at all to pair to my PS5, and the quality of my game streaming is excellent. Hardly any input lag for me and almost identical to native gaming.

I've had a PS5 for years, and have recently started traveling a lot more. I really wanted to be able to still play some games, while sitting in airports, hotels, etc, and lugging around a PS5 isn't really an option. I didn't even realize the Portal existed, and was thrilled when I learned about it. I picked one up from Best Buy, and it arrived pretty quickly later. Turning it on, the quality and built is well in-line with what I'd expect from Sony. I connected to my home wifi, and then input my Playstation ID. I made sure remote play was enabled on the PS5, and we were quickly in business. Man, do I love being able to play on this thing! The controls feel just right at home as if I was playing my PS5. The screen is great. Nice and bright, and does a good job for a portable device. While Sony does market this for just largely using at home, I read about being able to use it remotely. Thankfully, I've also had great success with being able to do that too! We have a Comcast connection, and I've been able to connect to various wifi networks and be able to largely do this just fine. There have been the occasional time when it lagged so much that I wasn't even able to play remotely, but restarting the PS5 seems to usually do the trick for fixing that. I've been very happy with my Portal, and am sure glad Sony put this product out!

This made a big difference for me whenever i housesit. I dont need to pack up my ps5 amymoreand can just bring the portal along. I was impressed by how good the display looks.

I love this portal. I originally bought the white one and turned it back and got the midnight black one. I have no problems with internet connection. It doesn't lag for me. It's perfect for my everyday use around the house.

If you have PS+, you NEED this. My PS5 had been sitting unused for so long, but now I can play in any room in the house.

Graet accesory to have. It plays your PS 5 games with comfort, either in your house, outside and on the cloud. Great handheld to have.

I really enjoy playing on this device. I van play anywhere with my friends. I like it because I can take it anywhere I go.

If you’ve already got a PS5 and have a family that likes to use the tv this is very helpful. Play your ps5 anywhere throughout your house as long as you have Wi-Fi. Also with the new cloud update you can use this bad boy on the go! (If you’re a PSplus member)
