I really like this portable device. I only wish it has a browser to connect to a hotel WiFi so that I don’t have to use a travel router.

Was hesitant to buy this with mixed reviews I found on connectivity but I am glad I decided to test it out myself. Works great as long as you have a decent WiFi connection. This does not work well with mobile hotspot but hotel WiFi and most places have worked just fine. I used to stream from my Steam Deck but the PS Portal provides a nicer image quality and access to tons of cloud games.

I bought these for my son in law and nephew and they have both been thrilled.

Nice to be able to play hand held, while my wife has her Switch in dock mode.

nice device. It is very much like the Wii u of the playstation 5.

The portal is great for what it does. It allows you play your ps5 around your house. It syncs instantly and has a very good connection everywhere, which is surprising since my internet is just okay in certain parts of my house. Turning it on allows it to connect instantly to Ps5. Turning on a controller turns it off making it seamless. The biggest negative has nothing to do with what this is but what I wanted. You need internet to work this, due to the PS5 issues connecting to most Hotel WiFi’s, it means you cannot travel with it very well. This is not a travel console, but an attachment to your home system.

Perfect for on the go gaming. Connection stays pretty steady as long as console is connected through LAN at home.

Not a fan works well but not good for the use of traveling to different states

I had high hopes for this... it does stream pretty good as long as I'm at home on my wifi but I have had it freeze up and lose signal on me 3 times already. 5g hotpspot worked even worse and was almost impossible to play on. I have no other issues with my wifi signal, PS5 is plugged in direct to router. Overall a 3 star from me, it plays pretty good when it catches a good signal but otherwise not much use to try and play away from home from what I've tried so far.

I brought it to have with my PlayStation 5 and my step daughter uses it all the time she loves it Just sometimes losses connection

I love the fact I can play my game while in bed and I can also leave home and still be able to play as long as I have WiFi wherever I’m at.

love this product, it allows me to game as if i am on my tv while my wife watches her shows.

Great product to play on the go. Ps5 is required to connect to the portal and it needs to be left idle at home if you want to play the portal.

Good idea and the product looks great. As many others said, connectivity and lag are regular. You should just be able to connect to the internet and play smoothly. Mine is being returned.
