Able to play my games anywhere. Would give 5 stars but difficulties with connecting it to my PS5 if I am not able to be home.

I bought the PlayStation Portal thinking multiple people could use the PlayStation at the same time. I later found out that only one person can use the PS5 if you are streaming directly from it, which I should have researched before buying. The Portal can still be used if you have a PlayStation Plus Premium membership, since it allows you to stream games directly from the cloud without connecting to your PS5. But for that, you need a strong and stable internet connection, otherwise the experience is frustrating. Even though I had more than a decent internet connection, I experienced lower fps, reduced resolution, and constant lagging. On the positive side, the ergonomics are excellent and the Portal is relatively affordable compared to other handheld gaming devices. I ended up returning mine because I could not play the games I already owned, which was the main reason I bought it, and the cloud gaming option never provided a smooth or reliable experience.

It works just as expected. We are able to play on the go.

For the open box pricing this device is a steal. Even at full price it’s worth consideration now that PlayStation has updated it to be possible to use without a PS5, you just need a subscription to use cloud gaming from Sony and you’re set.

As long as you have good internet and pay the monthly PlayStation network fee this thing is great

Love this product so much. The lag is super light and so I am able to play just about anything without noticing it.

Great overall and solid device. The distance between the portal and console needs to be close to each if your using it from home. The quality will trickle down.

If you have PS+, you NEED this. My PS5 had been sitting unused for so long, but now I can play in any room in the house.

Excellent product, connection can be spotty if using separate wifi networks, make sure both of them are at least 100 mbps, even then there might be some lag during gameplay. But the screen is amazing and the controller is literally the same as the ps5 dualsense.

Worth the money. Works good hosting the time. Can be a little laggy but that’s expected.

Great system. Love that I my son can use the hand held console when he is out of town for work as opposed to having to pack up his whole system.

I'm loving the playstation portal only problem is that you can play or stream games you paid for under your playstation store.

It's a great way to play all of your favorite games on the go and while someone else is using the TV, good build and very easy to connect and use.

I was very indifferent on buying the portal but after trying it out, it is definitely worth the price if you ever wanted to play your PS5 in handheld mode. The screen has really good colors and brightness even for a LCD screen!

This was a gift for my son and he loves it. My son uses it everywhere and everyday.

Very cool, the graphics surprised me. Not sure if the battery holds for 12 hours but i recommend it. Btw it is prone to stick drift so get it with insurance.
