Lol for 200 dollar this is a great add for ps5 now i can relax on my bed play my games.

I usually do not do reviews, but I absolutely love this device and the Midnight Black color! It is a great way to play your PS5 games in handheld mode and catch up on that nagging backlog. My PS5 console had been collecting dust recently due to my busy life schedule but since buying the portal I have not picked up my Switch 2 in days. I also love the cost of the device as well given how expensive gaming has become as of late.

I really like using the Portal. It’s great to use when I want to play, but can’t use the TV. The only negative is, when I’m in a hotel room, I can’t always connect to wifi, since most hotel WiFis require an acknowledgement using an internet browser. The Portal doesn’t have a browser built into it. This wasn’t a dealbreaker for me though.

Great once set up. I'd give it 5 stars if the directions were better for linking it to your wifi. Make sure you use the 5ghz channel of your router and remove any other devices from that channel and it runs very smooth.

I like the addition to my PlayStation family. I keep my ps5 in the living room but with this device I can play the game from the comfort of my bed without fail.

Yes, you're dependent on PS remote keeping a connection, but that isn't the fault of the controller. The controller itself has hours of enjoyment on a single charge if you can't use your TV. The only downside is the headphone selection you can use. You can't use regular bluetooth headphones or earbuds. You can either use the Sony PULSE devices that pair up easily, or connect a headphone jack wire.

Got it for my wife for Christmas she was yet to play on it but my son have he plays on it daily and love it

I was surprised on how well the image looks and has almost zero lag.

I always wanted to get a portal and I'm glad I waited till the black one came out I love it! I can play my games while the rest of the family uses the tv. It also works well if you're not at home all only thing which is really needed is an internet connection and the better it is the better the performance of course. The price is the same as the white but I did get mine price matched so I got it at a great deal.

I really love it a lot especially since I can play handheld and listen and watch football in the background. My only complaint is if you don’t have full bars on your Wi-Fi, like you go upstairs or to your garage, it gets a little laggy.

After many months I was finally able to the Portal! This thing is awesome. It's so nice being able to play my games anywhere around the house now. It works flawlessly & it's a great addition to your PS5 setup.

I bought this on impulse and after playing it i have no regrets. Eventhough I'll mainly use this at home sometimes you don't necessarily feel like being in front of your tv. As long as you understand what it is and isn't i think you'll really enjoy it.

This is a great deal now that you can stream games straight from Sony. I would recommend hardwiring your ps5 for streaming from it.

It's great and works well. The only issue is the connection to Wi-Fi. If you don't have any good internet or if you're in an area with weak or needing a password, you may run in to issues using it. Also, it's a streaming device & not handheld like the switch.

I bought this device for my significant other and he loves it! It connects seamlessly with our home console for on the go use and has good audio quality. The traditional controller buttons make this device familiar and easy to use. The device does feel fragile when not in use. so we did find a great carrying case and screen protector for some added protection. Great buy!

Everything came perfectly I love it it works perfectly no issues so far

When I first purchased i was skeptical but after numerous updates and continued support for this handheld its the only way to go for remote play on ps5. Also now streaming!
