It is a really nice product if you have the PlayStation network premium membership if not, don’t even bother to purchase it

Thanks to the ststem update on 11/19/2024, you can play stream from the cloud server without connecting to PS5 if you are a PlayStation Plus Premium member. The choice is limited, and they say that this is still a beta test, but it works! The save data are stored in the cloud and synchronized to PS5, so you can play seamlessly with both consoles. I am on a vacation away from home, but I can play at the hotel without flustrations. Hope this would be the official function and the choice of games will be increased.

The PS portal is an innovative piece of tech. It has improved from the release date so don’t let people discourage you from buying. As long as you have the ps streaming membership and a good WiFi, it plays very well. Obviously COD and R6S are a bit overwhelming for the device, all other games (solo or multiplayer) play fairly well.

Excellent way to take your PS5 on the go! Easily connects to WiFi and lag free experience with good connection speeds.

I love this product. I will say when I bought it. I don’t think I read it right but you have to be on the same Wi-Fi as your PS5. I still kept it and I still use it every now and then it lets me wander the house while playing.

I managed to get a portal online through BB when they were even more notoriously challenging to get. I am beyond thrilled i did. Great lifespan on the battery, setup is easy, i havent noticed any latency issues either. Well worth it.

This device truly is just a portal to access your PS5 games when not sitting directly in front of it. I was planning to buy a new gaming controller and ended deciding on this instead and it's been a nice addition. Streaming quality varies and affects gaming sessions, so I don't recommend for any competitive gamers.

My Husband has been playing this non-stop! It has so many amenities to the usage of this device. It is amazing.

We love love this playstation portal! My husband and i sometimes hangout just doing our own thing. But it sucks when i wanna watch my show but he wants to play his game. So, the playstation portal has been so awesome in letting us hangout but doing our own individual thing. Also helps when our 1 year old demands to watch Bluey lol

The ps portal is convenient sleek and comfortable to use an awsome pick up and continuing to grind on the go.

I purchased one of these for a couple reasons. One, so I didn't have to haul my ps5 back and forth from mine to my boyfriends house. And 2, so that I can still keep an eye on my kids while playing, but allowing them to be able to use the TV. Its a win win. The product works great, amazing quality of video, easy to connect to system and so simple and portable. The only issue I've had, is while being away from my ps5 (in another house) it is very hard to play. It does work, but the connection isn't consistent and it's constantly losing connection to the ps5. Besides that, I have zero complaints!

I love it, it's exactly what I needed! It’s a very niche product, but it delivers on its promise. It’s not for everyone, and while the price is a bit high, the value it offers makes it worth it.

I get its a remote player and not an actual handheld console. Graphics are great when connected to really good wifi. I bought it too try and game on the go with my mobile hotspot, but even with full service of 5G+ I still had connection issues. Great handheld for gaming at the house when TVs are occupied. All in all its a decent handheld.

Easy on the go you’ll need WiFi tho but still easy on the go it was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend

Even though its not a stand alone system this is the product we needed. I love this thing. I can be hundreds of miles from home but as long as i have a decent connection to wifi i can hop ont my PS5 with remote play but what truly made this a five star product was the addition of cloud gaming and so far sony and the Playstation brand have done it well. Until we get a new PSP this will have to do and its not a compromise.

PS5 on the go. Great for travel as long as wifi is available and wifi is everywhere now a days. Performs great as long as the wifi connection is strong and has good internet. Make sure you have a usbc charger and a case!
