I absolutely love this device. Sony hit it out of the park with the design. However, it was a rocky implementation at first. There was crazy lag and jittery jits you had to deal with occasionally. However, this has all changed after the 4.0 OS update. Not only has the delay been resolved (no more jittery jits) but now you dont even have to connect to your PS5/PS4. The portal can now stream cloud games. Sony is beta testing now and its awesome! Highly recommended buying.

Purchased last month and the item works as expected

I was surprised on how well the image looks and has almost zero lag.

I bought this device for my significant other and he loves it! It connects seamlessly with our home console for on the go use and has good audio quality. The traditional controller buttons make this device familiar and easy to use. The device does feel fragile when not in use. so we did find a great carrying case and screen protector for some added protection. Great buy!

Got this as a gift from my wife as a way to stop taking up the main TV. Was skeptical at first, but it works great. I have more issues from my Internet provider than the device itself. Plus with the new update you can use cloud gameplay!

The streaming on this thing is much better than I had originally thought. When I first got it, it was dropping frame rate a little bit so I was a little concerned. Then I realized that my PS5 was not connected via Ethernet. Once I updated it, I haven’t had many issues since. Love it.

Really cool, love the size of the screen. Battery life is also pretty decent

A great second screen option for the PS5 with negligible inpit lag (if you have good network speed). No bluetooth support is disappointing though. You either need a wired headphone or Sony’s own pulse headphones.

Battery life is better than expected. Picture quality is wonderful. Fun to be able to play games not in front of the TV. Speakers are barabge tho. Ive had great experience with the remote play being stable

I love it, it's exactly what I needed! It’s a very niche product, but it delivers on its promise. It’s not for everyone, and while the price is a bit high, the value it offers makes it worth it.

I got this so I can continue playing games while someone else uses the main tv. works GREAT when on the same network as the PS5, basically no lag, very similar to the Wii U in that aspect. When I use a mobile 5G network there is some lag but still playable, I usually use this to play classic PS1 or PS2 games, I would not play competitively with this. its built perfect for casual gaming! I would recommend this to anyone who needs/wants to share the main TV with a friend, family member or significant other, they can watch their shows and you can keep playing your games in the same room with them. its fantastic

Portal is perfect! Connect smoothly to your PS5 with no issue. Big screen and screen quality is amazing. Highly recommended

I love it. It gives me a chance to play games on the go (depending on the wifi) but it's a really good device. If you have the higher tier of Playstation Plus it will be beneficial for you as well

Great device. Works extremely well as a portable gaming system, however, just make sure you have a strong internet connection. If that is weak the device does glitch, but I blame that more on the internet than the PS Portal device.
