This was a great impulse buy. I had been debating on getting one for a while and I'm glad I finally did. Some games were just MADE for the Portal (Dave the Diver, Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, etc.) This is especially great for those of us who don't have central air conditioning and have to be in the coolest room. The screen is bright and the colors are great and it is super comfortable to hold for those longer gaming sessions. It has some good weight to it, doesn't feel cheaply made or anything. If you are on the fence about the portal, just get it! You won't regret it!

I would give it 5 stars, however it does get a little laggy at times due to it streaming from PS5. I LOVE it and it works well for me, however if you are unable to hardwire your PS5 it may not be as fast as you want. I play red dead on it all night after my wife holds the living room TV hostage.

Great way to play on the go everyone should have one

I actually love this product. Now i know that its gotten a lot of heat for not being a stand alone device but being that i can play my game from anywhere as long as the wifi is great ill take it. I can say that the portal feels like im playing with one of my ps5 dual sense controllers wirh adaptive triggers and a super led screen in the middle. Honestly its like having a ps5 in the palm of your hand. Just remembered that if the wifi connection isnt strong then you might become frustrated with the lag or the reoccurrence of reconnecting.

Good for offline games, the quality in online games is not so great

Ever get home and your significant other is using the TV while doomscrolling her phone and all you wanna do is level your material and catch moogles? But you can’t because the tv is in use! Look no further this controller has a screen in it and works fantastically with minimal latency for all your moogle minigame needs.

Portal is great if you travel a lot, works with hotspot and with great connection to any internet you will connect to your PlayStation in no time !

I think this is a pretty good device. Obviously, it’s not as free as a regular handheld device. But, if you want a handheld PC, then buy a handheld PC! What this device is meant for, it does really easy and conveniently. It’s a remote play device! Yes, you can use your phone, tablet, computer, Steam Deck, etc. They all work well enough. You can even connect a Dual Sense to those devices. This device just makes it easier and has everything you need built in. Biggest con is you need a decent wifi connection for the smoothest experience.

Great console to have when you’re not at home and also when you don’t feel like playing the game on your game room

If you don’t have one, you must buy one for your kids. They’re awesome for traveling.

I'll put it like this.... Yes you can play your PS5 in front of your TV no problem, but if you are feeling adventurous and want to game in the bed, in the backyard, on the front porch, at your hotel room with Wi-Fi hotspot, at your friends or family's house when you're on vacation or visiting, at work on break or lunch, and want that good PS5 playing experience... You better pick one of these up and thank me later. Do your research on the optimal settings on your PS5 console for playing on the portal for the ultimate experience because that weighs in as well.
