You'll only appreciate this if you're already invested in Sony's gaming ecosystem or subscribe to their cloud streaming. There is no local gaming, which is the reason I rated this as only 4 stars.

Full price is not worth it. Need excellent Internet connection to run smoothly. The lack of Bluetooth is annoying for on the go but again, it will not work unless your internet is great. Little to no issues when playing on same network as ps5

Screen is pretty big and Its nice to be able to play my Playstation from anywhere in the house.

I love my portal, but it's also not something I pick up and play everyday. It works outside my fiber Internet home, but becomes a lot less stable. It is made for those who can't eat enough gaming or just need flexibility (I have several young kids at home). It has all the features of your PS5 controller. Note, and this should come as no surprise to most, but as a reminder this is purely a streaming device. Whatever disc is in your PS5 or whatever games you have downloaded are the only ones you can play

I have been waiting for Sony to make this product worth while and the new update did exactly that. With the ability to stream games straight from the PS PLUS service, this product has become well worth the purchase. It feels great in your hands and the screen is beautiful! Its the best mobile gaming device by far in my opinion.

Out of box purchase. Everything was included. The system was clean and practically brand new. I use the hell outta it when my son is asleep in the room and i cant use the tv and speakers. I just hook up my headphones and im good to go.

Great companion for the PS5 system and with the latest update enabling cloud gaming this device has turned into something with a lot more potential. If you own a PS5 don’t sleep on this portable system so you can enjoy all your games on the road or at home while you are sitting in the kitchen or rocking your little ones to sleep.

This thing is great as long as you have good wifi, yes you can use your phone for remote play but who wants to use your phone when you have a portable ps5

Love this Playstation Portal Remote play my PS5 is in the basement i am on second floor no problems connecting to the system laying in bed having a ball.

I love the design and idea. It’s quite frustrating it’s only cloud streaming. Wish games could be downloaded and played without WiFi

Its a fantastic device for what it is. Just make sure you have solid internet where your PS5 is.

Bought this as the TV is being by my wife and kids. The kids have friends over a lot as they use the tv fir shows, movies and video games. The portal is great when the tv is in use and i have some time to play. Tried it on a trip as we are over 400 miles away and it worked great. Have not used it yet with an online mutliplayer game. My ps5 is hardwired for the fastest internet I could get, which I think helps.

Great Price,easy pick up process and very convenient

I mostly had been playing more cozy games laying in bed at night with my Nintendo Switch but I wanted to start playing my PS5 again. I picked this up and I’ve been so happy with it! It feels nice and looks nice and works well! I alternate my two handhelds nightly now.

Sony should really reconsider how cloud gaming works for this unit, even with high speed internet 300mbps Up & Down still had connectivity issues with the portal playing remote play was even worse , no one needs to be an IT Network Technician with a CCNA certification to troubleshoot just to play the game by changing settings on router and the console. Xbox got it right even with 3rd party had held devices and playstaion with their own proprietary unit still got it wrong!!
