The connectivity isn’t always great. Has potential if they can improve the connectivity and reduce lagging when connecting directly to the console. Works well with the streaming beta with little lagging even on mobile hotspot. However, the selection of games you can stream is very limited. Also when streaming games don’t always save.

Love it! The streaming works wonders. No lag. No hiccup..once in a while my PS5 disconnects from remote play, but over all its fantastic.

I think its awesome now that you can stream games. Allows anyone with or without a PS5 to enjoy games through this device. Strong internet is a must so it wont work on an Airplane yet. But for $200 and a subscription and your ready to game.

The best part about this device is its form factor. The screen is large and quality, the controller is easy and comfy to hold. Connection issues are frustrating at first, but make sure you PS5 is wired to your modem and that solves most problems.

The PlayStation Portal is a game-changer (pun intended). I've been using it for a while now, and I honestly can't believe how much I love it. With my internet connection (500 down and 100 up), I forget I'm even streaming games. This is my new favorite way to experience my PS5 titles. The screen is gorgeous, the controls feel fantastic, and the experience is seamless. It's basically a PS5 in your hands, and it's amazing.

Its a nice big high def screen that is plenty bright. Its connectivity is excellent and it makes playing games anywhere in the house convenient. Having kids and a wife, sometimes the tv isnt available so this makes a good alternatives.

This thing is awesome! It has a screen with excellent graphics and the sound quality is amazing. You can connect your PlayStation and play your games on this handheld device. It’s the perfect size and the battery life is great!

It’s Excellent, No lag except for a few games and it’s better than ordinary remote play at mobile, I was quite shocked at the gameplay but a bit disappointed by how it lagged a bit for a couple of online games and high quality games, but it has great reactions and excellent graphics and quality.

Overall I like my portal but its usability is completely reliant on your internet. I have a gig speed wifi and sometimes that isn't enough for my PS5 to broadcast out to my portal. It would be nice if my ps5 was plugged in via Ethernet but sadly my router is on a different level. When everything is running smoothly the portal is a joy and is crisp but when everyone is streaming in the house my games look like something out of the 16-bit days.

Honestly I was surprised I was even able to get one! I was on the website at 12am & was seeing it was unavailable, then around 12:20 got on the website again & it was available to add to cart! As soon as I placed my order, I refreshed the page and it was then unavailable! I was so happy I was able to get one! Overall, the Playstation Portal is great, love how big the screen is & super easy to connect to my PS5. There is a bit of a lag on it, don’t know why but not too much of a difference.

Now that Sony has unlocked this to be able to connect from outside your home network (as long as you have good enough internet) makes this portal alot more usable and enjoyable for traveling.

Love it! Except I wish there were more options as a stand alone console. You can now play games from a catalog on ps plus but that catalog is limited. Make it a fully standalone and everyone would kill to have it. It would become a top console.

The PS Portal is certainly not for everyone. I think it only appeals to a small variety of people. Remote Play seems to be only popular with hardcore Playstation gamers. I got it because my parents watch a lot of TV, sometimes they binge watch shows for hours and I get bored and sometimes want to play a game or if i'm playing something that is inappropriate or something not of their tastes I would play the PS Portal on that specific game. When it works it works, but I recommend connecting it to a 5G network as I ended up doing, not a 2 GHZ network. While the overall functions are good it's a shame the Streaming services seem to be blocked and that would have been a great selling point to stream shows on the PS Portal as it has a really great screen and very useful when you need it. It isn't perfect but there is certainly room for improvement.

5 Stars all the way! This product solves all the problems I had with getting downtime to play. I typically play when the kids go down for bed. This enables me to play while not taking the television from my wife while still being in the same room with her. I highly recommend this product, please keep in mind as I told my wife it is essentially a controller with a screen. I have played a number of online games with no issues such as Destiny 2.

Easy to set up and use. No connection issues, which i was worried about. Its greta to be able to lay in bed and still game. Highly recommend.

Great if you just don’t want to sit in one place for your gaming or if some one else wants to use the tv.
