Ever sifne the update withh cloud gaming it has been so smooth. No ps5 needed ajd they added games every week when i travel I can take my portal with me. Even though its in beta one day we can play our games or maybe download them but no lag or nothing when I play

Sleek design. Good gaming console but if you have a good internet connection, if not there will be seconds delay in your game.

It’s good if you using it just at home but lags so much you have to be sitting next to the WiFi

Looks good, but falls short where it matters The display and ergonomics are solid, but the lack of HDR support is puzzling—especially since most TVs and PS5 setups run HDR by default. VRR isn’t needed here, but HDR should have been included. The bigger issue is connectivity. This device only supports Wi-Fi 5, which feels outdated. At minimum, it should’ve shipped with Wi-Fi 6E for smoother streaming. Since the Portal can only stream games (either through your PS5 or PS Plus), network performance is everything—and it simply doesn’t deliver. I ended up selling mine, as I get a much better experience streaming to my PC handheld. Third-party apps let you boost bitrate, and with Wi-Fi 6E the stream quality is noticeably sharper. For $200, this should be the best PS5 streaming device on the market. While the DualSense integration is nice, the shortcomings outweigh the benefits. I cannot recommend this product.

Perfect for when you wanna play but don’t wanna be stuck in front of a TV.

Great system. Great graphics and unbeatable gameplay

I’ve been hesitant to get this device after looking at initial reviews, but overtime I had seen positivity go up and I finally jumped on it. I’ve had it now for two weeks and I can say that this is a purchase well-made it’s exactly how I envisioned it would be. It’s not perfect, but it definitely does what I need it to do

Love the mobility of play it creates however after about a month controller started making a horrible sound everytimw it would vibrate

I really love this controller and the standalone cloud gaming! Totally recommend it, whether you have a PS5 or not – it plays games without one using cloud gaming.

Great product, as long as you have solid internet somewhere it works perfectly as a remote player. I’ve never had a problem and it’s a great addition to the PlayStation Eco System.

Absolutely love this thing keeps me busy and entertained when at my daughters tennis practice or when wife is watching tv.

If you’d have a child that wants to take up the television all day buy playing games this is the add on for you. My 7 year old can now play his games and I can watch tv again without depriving him of never getting to play the ps5. Best purchase

This has veen great for days im feeling sick and dont want to get out of bed or just want to lay in a specific spot and play. Its also great if youre in one of those situations where your ps5 is in a family room and the tv is being used. The LCD screen is really bright and great quality. Sound is amazing. There are alot of people speaking negative about the product, but considering its sold out and hard to find in some places, i think that speaks for itself.

I definitely love the portal. I was surprised by how well it works. The video quality is great and the audio is awesome. The fact that it has the same haptic feedback as a dual sense controller is icing on the cake. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because there are some drops in connection, which causes the portal to sometimes disconnect, but it reconnects right away. I am definitely satisfied with my purchase.

Lo it easy to use easy to connect and very easy play with or with out a PS5 as long as you have a PlayStation plus account

I love the feel of this device . The ergonomic is great to me . Especially when I compare it to the steam deck and the rog ally . When you have a good connection it works great. Can't say it's perfect but ,the quality of the screen and size of the screen is better than using my phone for gaming . It's a great accessory to go with the PS5 . I am able to play it outside my house without issues, granted I have to have good solid wifi connection .

Mad the bad decision to listen to YouTube reviews and talked mysoout of pre ordering. Finally was able to get my hands on one and i have so happy to have this device. Fits my needs perfectly, it may not be for everyone but as a father who has younger children who are obsessed with Bluey i love that i can game while they do their thing. I have the best internet possible in my area and have had zero problems with connectivity and lag

At first, I skeptical of buying this since it is nothing more than an extension of the PS5 and not a system running games on its own. However, once my nephew showed me the immense display quality and the feel and control of the system it was a must buy for me. I am a person who watches many shows and the opportunity to multitask in a handheld while watching a series on tv is such a bonus.
