Im a huge Playstation fan! I love the idea but it falls a little short. Playstation needs to allow to have a server dedicated to streaming games instead of mirroring your physical ps5 to the playstation portable. The image quality from mirroring kills the look. I hope they do an update to fix this. If not, jusy get a backbone, atleast you can use your mobile data to play anywhere.

Hardwire your ps5 and you will truly enjoy this product. When using hotel wifi it gets choppy on fps. Played madden, gta and such perfectly on hotel wifi. Hopped on t mobile hotspot and all was great. Worked well on plane as well but again, fps experience will differ based on portal connection strength. Definitely recommend if you can actually secure one. Perfect for unwinding in the bed while wife watches her usual emo shows.

hubby loved it when he saw it, but after using it every here and there he noticed it lagged more than he would’ve thought. He doesnt use it much anymore, but he is happy to have it in his collection.

Love this thing. Able to play my games out of state which is awesome! The inclusion of the cloud gaming also has made this a must buy in my book!

We enjoy this as a gaming device so much that we're considering purchasing a second. Gorgeous screen, familiar setup and gameplay - just make sure you have an Internet connection that can support anything that's heavy on the graphics side. Sure, there are some significant limitations, but for the users that this makes sense for? Excellent stuff.

I got this so that i can play while my wife watches her programming on TV. I can play from any room in the APT. I love the large vibrant screen. Fits nicely in my hands. Pairing to my PS5 console was easy. NO COmplaints.

If you go in knowing that the Playstation Portal is simply a device that allows you to stream your PS5 through an internet connection then you should love this device. It is light weight, good battery life (5 hours) and lets you stream your ps5 and the games installed on it. Works best at home but i have been able to connect and play using my phone as a hotspot.

it’s fun when it works. these are very picky with the internet you are using. would only recommend if you have great wifi.

I see a lot of mixed reviews of this device online. I think it’s mostly confusion of what this thing is. It’s a portable meant to be played at home when the tv is being watched or just want to play on something smaller when winding down. I don’t take it anywhere except around the house because I understand what’s it’s designed for. Plays nice. I’ve got a mesh system for around the house so no hiccups. I like it. It’s worth it to me.

It's nice, but it is not fit to use on the go due to slow internet connections. Being a hard-core PS legacy fan on consoles, portables, and speakers this product disappointed me. It shoul at least have a esim or sim port to get a internet service like a tablet or phone and it would be way better. I returned the ps portable

This is the best product that PlayStation could made very good job Sony the things that you don’t get to hear about this this product you’re able to use your hotspot from your phone. You can finish all the games that you wanted to finish. I finish Spider-Man in this now playing assassin Creed, one thing I recommend please buy the warranty with Best Buy. God forbid drop it so you could get a new one replaced

Not an actual handheld and if WiFi isn’t strong enough when ur out then ur sol, need an actual hotspot, 3.5/10

An amazig unit the power of game play anytime and anywhere ,this games is perfect for a gamer that works alot.

I have found this great for being able game from different areas of the house. The switch has been a big win for me because of the mobility, this gives the same experience bit with the ability to play games from my PS library. Big win in my book!

Great product, connects decently with ps5 but the beta cloud streaming is excellent as well. Adding the midnight black was such a great idea too.
