As a new dad its been so hard to play the way I always have in my life. As soon as I saw this I knew it was for me. I originally got it just to play single player games knowing streaming isnt best for online or wuick reaction games but it works surprisingly well even for those, love this thing!!

So far this ps portal has been awesome on connecting to the ps5. However, I have Ethernet connected and strong WiFi on portal when away and still face the issue of lagging. I have fiber optic internet at home and 300mbs download and 175 upload. I feel that when I owned a backbone I faced less lagg

Works better when it is connected directly to your WiFi monitor but great product for the go

I used the PSP multiple times at home, and I wasn't 100% satisfied with its performance, as it sometimes crashed. But I decided to return after a big disappointment during my vacation: it was disconnecting every 5s, even at night when there were not many users on the network. BTW, I set the PS5 to the lowest resolution. The only time you can use it is when you have a high-speed network, and wherever you're going, there is a high-speed network. Other than that, it's a waste of money.

If you have high speed internet this very cool piece of tech may be for you. It does have limitations such as no bluetooth and no web browser or ability to load streaming services. Really strange in that regard. Hoping they correct with firmware/software updates.

[Employee of bestbuy] Great way to play PS5 games remotely. The screen is big and has great picture quality for an LCD. It runs very smoothly. Would've looked better with an OLED screen, but that would increase its cost. Overall excellent product.

I really love it especially with this new update for the resolution looks beautiful and you don’t have to own a ps5 to use it

Customer service was great when ordering the portal, delivery was available to me at purchase and pick up fast. My kid enjoys the portal when away from home and while his roaming around the house.

[Employee of bestbuy] I mean it gets the job done but the connection is sometimes very poor. Sometimes it glitches out. But it gets the job done when u don’t wanna sit and play you can just lay down and play it does get the job done. But sometimes after a hour of play the portal disconnects and does not re connect until the next use? Like when i’m playing a game it disconnects me in the middle of it then i try and reconnect and it doesn’t so i reset it and still nothing, i usually go off of it for a day and it starts working again but this has to be fixed. Good Idea. Bad Excecution

This is a great addition for playing your PS5 games away from the ps5. You can play multiplayer games, but fast pace games like Call of Duty are hard do to a slight lag. I was able to play madden multiplayer with no problem. If you are a parent or person alway out of the hoyse, this is a great accessory for the price

I think it’s a great purchase works good, battery life is wonderful, and you can bring it with you anywhere. The only downside i would say is that you need a good Wifi connection to play anything but other than that I would highly recommend.

Streaming issues are there even with decent Internet. I love the ergonomics and controls if the system. Being a streaming system hurts it. I've had worse play remote playing my ps5 as compared to the ps plus streaming beta. If you don't have the Internet didn't buy this. I currently have spectrum and still stutters and disconnects.

I was a little skeptical on this but it is awesome! All you need is Wifi & you can play any game that is downloaded on your PS5! Only downside, if i had to pick one is that you cannot bluetooth your headset & the speakers are not that great.

I really like the PlayStation portal but if you really wanna enjoy it you need to be on good wifi for both your ps5 and the portal. So it’s only good if you have amazing wifi and if there is a storm at all or anything it just doesn’t really work. It’s better to me to use the ps4 or 5 to stream from another ps5 to the system. It would be a lot better if it say had built in data or you could download games to it rather than just streaming.
