This is worth every penny! The quality is great, its travel size but yet big enough as if im playing on a tv.

Absolutely amazing device, with a few shortcomings. Nothing particularly intrusive that a device restart doesn't fix, but the PS Portal will occasionally be unable to find the PS5 for no particular reason. Once connected though, it really shines.

Bought this during a flash sale, and haven't regretted the purchase. I got to play it for all of one week before my wife got ahold of it. I have not gotten the Playstation Portal back into my hands ever since. She absolutely loves it, and that satisfies me more than playing myself.

The Portal was a neat concept but in the end, I ended up returning the device. My setup was a hard-wired Ethernet to PS5 and a higher-end tri band routers including WiFi 6E. I also have gigabit speed home internet. Unfortunately the Portal does not use anything above the 5ghz band however. I tested remote play on my iPhone and MacBook Pro prior to preordering the portal to make sure my setup was optimal. After having nearly a flawless experience with those devices. I decided to pick up the portal for the integrated dualsense controls and large display. I played multiple games but mainly focused on Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and GT7. Both games worked ok but there was just a bit more input lag compared to other devices I’ve used. The connection would degrade significantly in Ratchet and Clank when any graphically intense scene with lots of moving items such as explosions. This made it unenjoyable to play these offline single player games. Playing any fast-past game online wasn’t even an option with the input lag. I wish Sony would add more functionality to the device like being able to watch movies or play Spotify or even include a browser for Netflix or so you could log onto public WiFi like in hotels since I travel a lot. As far as a subpar remote play device for use around the house, $200 felt like a bad value for this piece of tech.

This won’t be for everyone, but those that will use it will love it. Its great. I love being able to play in bed before night without having to be in the living room. Will also be great when I travel for work and can play from the hotel room.

Looks amazing! I honestly thought i was going to regret buying since it's all based off of internet speed (i don't have the best internet) and it runs amazingly.

this isnt for playing multiplayer like a call of duty, but to catch up with some single player games on the go. You will be disappointed if you are looking to play something competitive, but not if you are looking to play something casual.

Love my portal! It is exactly as advertised. A remote play device for your PS5. So if your significant other is watching some Netflix, you can chill beside them on your PS5! Latency is not bad at all either and the controller is exactly like a dual sense! Plus the screen is beautiful! Highly recommend!

Great little device for what it was designed to do. It does need a few things to make it better that might be coming in software updates. Needs cloud streaming, a way to connect directly to the PS5 and should have had Bluetooth.

The PlayStation portal is hands down a better handheld then the switch it so comfortable to hold and play your PS5 games wherever you want work home a friends house at the end of the day if you want this handheld buy it $200 bucks is worth it.

Love it, I'm able to play my playstation anywhere in my house conveniently. I can play while the kids watch stuff on the main tv while remaining in the same room as them. Only wish it was portable and could take it places without the console.

The screen resolution isn’t great and it’s noticeable. Yes it’s a handheld and you shouldn’t expect miracles but the pixels were very noticeable and annoying to me right off the bat. With that being said the gameplay was quick with no noticeable lag and while the handles are set up just like a normal PS5 controller I found it cumbersome with how far apart they are. I ended up returning this.

Somehow snagged one of these off of best buy’s website. Works great, streams my ps5 games very well and has worked better than remote play app on my iphone with a backbone. The screen is way nicer due to the size also. Haptics on the controller are just like a ps5 controller, which is great.

I love my ps portal. I take it on every trip. It serves its purpose.

I really love how big the screen is while being portable. I got it for my boyfriend and he loves it!

I know this isn’t for everyone, but it fits my needs. I am able to play it anywhere in my house without using up the TV. Which I assume is the point. I did however opt in the protection plan because of how small the analog sticks are which I think could be damaged easily with consistent use.
