I was worried because remote play doesn’t work great on my M1 MacBook Pro, nor did chiaki4deck work well on my steam deck. But this works really great for me.

It works better than laptop when I remote play. The screen is bigger than a switch. Can't wait to try it with the new headphones coming this February.

There’s only 1 thing I don’t like is there’s a bit of a lag

I would jot label it completly as portable, since there are some requirements tou may need to play. You may need to do some adjustments to your router, nothing complicated. I got the portal on discuount. Even I love it, I dont belive its worth $200

Looks Great. Unusable Due to Wifi Connection

However, this thing will not hold a wifi connection. I have no issues with wifi connectivity on PS5, TV, PC, etc. It's been unusable for me because it's constantly losing connection. Hoping Sony can do some kind of fix via firmware. I've had 5 seconds of gameplay, literally. If they are able to fix the wifi connectivity this is easily 5 starts and, in my opinion, great value for the price. Hardware wise it feels great. Screen looks great, although OLED would have looked a lot better.

Being anle to play my PS5 anywhere in the house has been great. Just make sure your PS5 and the Portal have a strong internet connection. Plugging the PS5 directly to the router helps a lot.
