When the backbone came out I was so excited but it didnt give me the experience that I was looking for. Today I can say with confidence that the portal does, controls and quality are great. As long as you’re aware of what is that you’re buying and getting with the portal it’s the best option for remote play, hands down.

Really good, great for work if they don't block it, make sure your ps5 is hard wired. Sony's headphones are great but too expensive. old apple headphones do just fine. Really good way to push downloaded games.

Remote play works fine on an ipad, but on a portal the audiio is delayed by a sec behind picture, making it unusable for games. Connection issues plague this as well.

My son loves the portal. He plays it all the time. He just complains that it lags sometimes.

Good product , Was packed in an actually box and not a label on the production box. Obviously they didnt want it to be known a Playstation Portable was being delivered

Nicely built. Feels well constructed. Terrible connection despite strong wifi network and signal. The lag makes games unplayable. Returned mine

PlayStation portal has been seeing daily use since I purchased it. A fast internet connection makes for crisp and fluid gameplay that is very enjoyable.

Works great with home WiFi. Playing games while on hotspot is not great but still works. I use it primarily at home when wife wants to use TV

Works well in ur house. If u want to take it out of the place ur ps5 in u will need a stable wifi connection or hot spot. YOU NEED A PS5 to use this

Great controls, great display, easy to use software, but absolutely terrible streaming performance and quality. This product is HIGHLY dependent on having a fast and good connection to your Internet, both from the console itself and the Portal. If you can't plug an Ethernet cable into your PS5, you're guaranteed to have a bad time no matter how fast your internet is. I thought maybe it would be fine since this one is Sony's device and surely they'd make it work better than a phone with PSplay or their own streaming app, but nope. Any streaming sucks, even on excellent fast internet.

My son got this for his birthday and he loves it. The color and graphics are very clear.

A neat Controller. Look's good . It has Hits & Misses. Remember it's a Wi-Fi Gig U need a good strong signal. On the go your choice. TV Screen got your eyes. look's so sweet. But you. Do need a PS5 Companion !. To set it off. Good Luck !.

Great ps5 device on the go!! With good internet. It also has cloud gaming!!

On the go gaming. I wish the screen was Oled but other than that its great. Especially now that you can cloud stream.

Works well at home on my network. Not good if using hotspot. Some success on WiFi outside of home. Meant for home usage. That’s the reality. But pretty cool and who know what the updates will bring.

Sony made a good product for their service a dedicated player with haptic feedback only problem is remote play has and always will stink. The constant drops and lagging make this no fun. I’m returning it.

Portal does exactly what it advetises, ps5 gaming from anywhere in my home or out and about.
