It's a great device and I generally like playing it but the biggest downside is the stick sensitivity. There's no resistance like I controller. I've tried thumbstick rings and extenders but it doesn't change anything. If they would put better sticks on this it would be five star

Great ps5 device on the go!! With good internet. It also has cloud gaming!!

This item is a Christmas gift for my grandson. However, it arrived on time and the box it came in is in excellent condition. Excited to see him open it.

Ended up returning because this wasn’t worth the value. If I were able to play the games in my library on the go then maybe, but only being able to play a selective amount of games isn’t worth the money that Sony is asking for

I love it love how I can sit down downstairs and play my game. It do freeze a lil but it’s still great

The PlayStation Portal seemed like a good idea on paper: howver the delivery could have been much better. Since this is a streaming device, it solely relies on your Internet connection. This might not be a problem until there is an outage in your area that you cannot control. There is also the quality control issues. Unfortunately my unit left stick cannot move up or down and clicks when rotating. This seems to be a common issue, so if you are buying one, be sure to check the sticks! Sadly, best buy wont accept my return now so i must deal with Sony...

This device is horrible. I have yet to be able to use it more than 15 with out the connection dropping. If I could give it a zero, I would. I had high hopes. Doesn’t matter what type of connection is made it drips. Unplayable. I want my money back. How can they still sell this device. We need a class action lawsuit.

Love this remote player, even works off phone hotspot! I can play anywhere that has decent wifi. With slower wifi pretty bad graphics but still playable. Key is to have ps5 connected via lan vs wifi

The portal is a great option for home use if you have good internet. I use mine frequently so I can play downstairs whiteout interrupting my family. Would be nice if it was a standalone console, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Husband uses this purchase everyday in the house when he doesn't want to play his PS5 on the TV. Warning this works if your PS5 is in rest mode before you leave the house. Great wherever you have strong wifi and great for multiplayer games.

I was skeptical about the handheld, but it did not dissapoint, i play games at night when everyone is sleeping, im able to jump to any game downloaded into my ps5, i love that, its perfect size and feel, would recomend to anyone!

I would purchase this for single player games but anything multiplayer it lags too much

The Playstation portal is a great buy and the representative answered all my questions and was very helpful and nice

The idea of it is great, but even if the internet I’m using at home or away is optimal, the device has a lot of buffering issues and sometimes just doesn’t work.

Im happy i got it, feel good on yohr hands this system for me i be work all day so ill got strong wifi at my job so im happy with that but aye its not for everybody but i kkow its for ppl that work a lot or dont have time to set around play with their console

Even with excellent, fast, stable Wi-Fi, you should be aware that constant stuttering, lag and disconnects are a likely prospect. People are resorting to disconnecting cables on their PS5 and changing settings (that should not need yo be changed) just to get it to work. Even after two software updates, the problems persist. Sony should have spent more time on perfecting the software/hardware before reasoning this to the public. Just know that YMMV.

This works amazing when you have. Good consistent Internet. If you don't then just don't get it.

I bought it for my husband as a gift for father’s day and he loves it

Very laggy and doesn’t get very good connection! Very cool concept just wasn’t a good fit for competitive gaming.
