The PS portal remote works well when you have it connected to great WI FI, I was unable to connect it to my T-Mobile hot spot so I really didn’t get to enjoy it like I had hoped. Overall if you have a portable WI FI device you will enjoy it.

Warframe is good. On a Portal...it's the Celestial path to the Golden Gates, or the Lake of Fire. Either way you choose....itll add to what you love about where you are.

It’s a great design, but it lags because it uses the PS5. Would be great if it was its own stand alone system.

i purchased this for my boyfriend’s birthday and i don’t regret it! when he’s traveling or working, the portal is still connected to his console and the quality is amazing!

Honestly I was expecting better. For $200 it’s not too bad however we are in 2025 and this much lag isn’t worth it to me. Remote play works when it wants to and the streaming is fine but it’s $140 a year for some mid selection

I just got it to check it out and form a personal opinion. Truth is, it’s kind of underwhelming and doesn’t necessarily meet the “play on the go” want someone may have. Basically just a remote play controller. Still cool to have I guess.

If you have a strong, fast wifi connection this is a nice companion to your PS5. I would prefer a higher resolution screen, but otherwise I dont have any complaints.

it’s perfect for me. I can use it anytime, anywhere as long as you have a good internet.

Expensive paper weight. Unplayable due to lag even when you have 300+ mbps WiFi and your Ps5 on direct lan connection. It’s the biggest Sony let down. I did all possible work around including lowering resolution on the ps5, lowered refresh rate and even lowered graphics setting on games. Still lags. Save yourself from headache. Wait till Sony fix this issue.

Honestly disappointed in this product. Its specifically made for remote play but doesnt have a web browser. My fiance bought this for me for christmas so i could still play while im out of town for work. Well without a web browser you cant access hotel wifi. Sony really dropped the ball on this one for sure. What am i suppose to do? Sit in a different room of my house to play my ps5? Whywpuld i do that ifvim in thr same house as my ps5?

Has a hard time connecting to my PlayStation. Kinda frustrating when you are in the house….

Im giving 4 stars because ultimately it is just a really advanced remote control. Dont get me wrong, I love it. I just think that the graphics could be better considering the 8in screen.

It's good if you have a fast home network and you're sitting near your router. It drops a lot of frames.

Must have great internet speed to make sure the latency is minimal,I can compete on fortnite and cod but straight from the console is where its at. Had a few bugs at setup but its good now.
