It looks amazing, value for money. It's a good experience if you want to play in portable mode.

Love mine! If you're having latency or a connection issue just look up how to put all your devices on 2.4 Ghz and your Portal on 5Ghz via your router settings (your PS5 should be using ethernet). Something so great about putting down the controller in the living room, and then picking up the Portal in the bedroom and the game didn't skip a beat.

Its a great console. I would jot label it completly as portable, since there are some requirements tou may need to play. You may need to do some adjustments to your router, nothing complicated. I got the portal on discuount. Even I love it, I dont belive its worth $200

Being part of the portal nation, i see all these 1 stars and i think those are trash reviews. I have never seen lag in any of my games that i've played and it's been super smooth. Setup to your ps5 is super easy also.
Compared to a steamdeck, you're losing in many fields, but you're winning in price of the device, not including the ps5, and couple other things. The device is very light and feels great on your hands. Steamdeck has a good feel but has a heftier feel. Portal also has no huge fan running. It's super quiet.
Only bad things is there's no bluetooth support and external controller support.
As a dad that plays at odd times, sound is not that much of an issue and I can just play on the device. It is great!
those 1 star reviewers are probably putting their ps5 on wifi or their network is not great, but I don't have the best internet, i get 100 mbps, with my kids device, wife's phone, and the apple tv running. It's not an issue. You have to plug in your ps5 to your router for best result and not plug into a wifi extender either. You have to set yourself up for the best results. There's a reason why it's sold out.

Its good for what it is and only for what its meant for if you havent really paid attention to it then read up before you finally are able to get one no it does not have its own games it does not have a browser it cant play music or videos it cant download anything and does not have Bluetooth BUT it does enhance the remote play experience feels better then using a backbone it has ergonomics of an actual controller with a mini tablet in the middle and there is less lag when compared to using my phone its just not the same when you clip your phone to a holder attached to a controller you have that top weight but with the portal its like a feather it is a bit awkward to carry around there arent any cases for these things yet so you gotta be careful yes its overpriced i think 150 wouldve been good and yes you waste less with a gamesir galileo G8 or a backbone or a razer kishi or a controller clip but the experience isnt the same if you really want this be patient keep looking DO NOT buy it for more then 220 dont go to fb and meet up somone selling it for 300 keep looking and be patient
