This is my first virtual reality headset experience so I can't compare it to the Oculus Rift etc. Others have complained that the graphics are of a much lower quality than standard PS4 games...very true however knowing this going into it, I wouldn't say it bothered me. Others have also reported getting sick...while I did experience a slight feeling of uneasiness at times, it wasn't enough to make me stop playing it. I am afraid of heights in general though so Rigs for example was something I couldn't play longer than a couple minutes. All in all, I'd say the overall experience is 100% something everyone should try. Try it whether it be your friend's or an in store demo. I on the other hand, don't see justification in paying $500 for a peripheral that I'm sure Sony will abandon sooner than necessary.

Let me just say my PS4 was collecting dust before I bought this bundle. Finding this bundle was next to impossible and luckily, Walmart in the remote part of northern Rhode Island still had two left weeks after it was released. This bundle is the most cost effective purchase since the googles themselves sell alone for $399 and this bundle includes the googles, PS Play wands and the camera plus VR Worlds and a Demo disc.
First experience with VR and not having tried Oculus and HTC I had no idea what I was in for. Playstation needs to work out some kinks and the graphics aren't the greatest in every game that is until the new PS Pro comes out in a few weeks, but this is the best VR on the street today under $1000 and with all the planned games and the backing of Sony, this surely will have the VR market cornered. With this I bought Batman and Rising Blood Rollercoaster game. Trying out VR worlds and the demo disc, some of the games are amazing and some really fall short. London Heist on the VR worlds disc is cool at first but it shakes all over the place and your hands keep going through objects. The most realistic game to blow your mind is on VR world disc and it is an ocean game essentially where a shark attacks your cage and you are under water deep in a reef area. I like that you can spin around and look behind you and lean over etc. The demo disc basically shows you all the upcoming games like the really scary Resident Evil (called Kicthen) which is complete horror and in VR makes your skin crawl. The old technology move wands are okay but they really need to come out with gloves of some sort and not holding a stick. Batman is pretty cool and the best game to get to try VR out. Graphics are great and real hands on with weapons and a good storyline. The VR google/mask is very comfortable and easy to adjust and aside from getting fogged up once and a while it is pretty cool. Set up is very easy and everything is numbered and the instructions are easy to follow. There is a lot of cords to wire in and out of PS4 but it is pretty easy. This system so far is worth every penny and a great addition to Playstation. Not sure though I could go back to regular games after this experience!

Since I got my Gear VR with Galaxy S7 purchase I was waiting to get the PSVR. Pre-ordered and it's been 2 weeks now so wanted share my thoughts. Setting up took little time and pretty straight forward with very easy guide included. you will find it very hard to mess up as all parts are numbered so you just need to follow the instruction.
So far I have tried following demo/ games.
1. DriveClub VR - oh it's my dream comes true. I can finally move my head to look beyond the corner while I'm driving so it felt like I am actually in the car driving Ferrari. Now i really want to get Driving wheel to complete it. One con was after an hour of playing I was getting some motion sickness and had to stop playing and get some rest. I noticed many of review also indicated this.
2. Here they lies - Oh my GOD if you like horror game, VR is now must have. I accidentally started game without know what kind of game it is and I almost had heart attack. enough said....
3. VR World - London Heist.: wonderful combination of VR interaction with shooting.
4. VR World - Ocean deep : Shark attack!! you will find yourself in beautiful under water (and cage) 360 degree view was so good and I strongly suggest to play this if you get PSVR.
Even with having very minimal time to play games last 2 weeks I was totally satisfied the VR experience. there are bunch of good titles to play (unlike Gear VR- the only game I felt worth to play was Minecraft VR). Move controller was good to start interactive VR experience but felt little cumbersome as they are huge.
Overall I love PSVR and would recommend to anyone who has PS4 and want to play VR games with minimal expenses. As I built my PC to run games to play 4K games I might move to HTC VIVE or Rift with Touch controller for better VR experience but until I can save money for them I will be a happy camper with PSVR.

I was hoping for a whole new experience of gaming which I did get but after a while I started to notice pixels more and more while playing games. I understand it's something that's in work of progress but it may be a little to much for $500

Great VR system, but the only problem is setup because you don't have as much freedom as the htc vive and oculus has for movement. Great for just sitting in front of the screen.

A nifty little gizmo but at the end of the day the price point is way too high for what you get if I were to do it all over again I'd save my $500

An Honest and Sincere Review Before you Buy!

Okay so first thing is first, I have tried the Vibe, the oculus rift and the Samsung S6 Edge with VR. This one would be in last place. Don't get me wrong it is very fun and comfortable but we have all seen the "Youtube" reviews and game play but honestly it is not as nice as it seems. Graphics look like 480p on a CRT monitor. If you don't believe me try it out yourself. When I let my wife play and I saw the game play on my TV it looks awesome, very sharp and clear. The headset looks 480p at best. Again I did have fun and I even bought four launch games. So far I have played all the VR World games and the VR demos which I suggest you play first before buying any games. So I just want you to be aware that if you are expecting 1080p or even 720p resolution you will be disappointed. This is why I cannot give it 5 stars. I know I have the ability to return if I am not happy and I am not. I will keep it and see how the PS 4 Pro improves this. But honestly, I think this will be just like the Xbox Kinect and die off soon if the resolution does not improve. Again this is my opinion just thought you all would like to read an honest review before you buy. It has been fun so far but I am not yet convinced it was worth $499. Only time will tell. I plan to update this after the PS4 Pro releases which I have preorder as well. Try a demo first before you buy so that if you are indecisive you can finally see if it is worth it.

With the limited game line up and a few things that need corrections it feels more like a demo version that a finished product.

I read online reviews that stated how this fits over glasses and how comfortable it is. Word of warning - it isn't comfortable...at all. And even though it fits over glasses, in order to see anything clear other that two small circles directly in front of your eyes, you have to press the goggles as close to your eyes as possible. End result - lay face down on the floor with your glasses on and experience the pain the nose pads of your glasses inflict on your face! This was my PSVR experience...not fun. Not to mention the tracking/drifting problems with this product. Sony obviously rushed this into production for the holiday season when it still needs a lot of work.

I had the opportunity to use this system last year at SD Comic Con when it was still called Project Morpheus. The headset was very comfortable and when coupled with a good headset, you forget it's even on your face. Everyone is trashing the VR capability of this unit but MOST don't have first hand experience with the unit to begin with.
I can honestly say you really feel like your in the game. The graphics haven't taken a huge leap that will make you feel like your in a live action movie so don't expect that. The quality is that of any high end game that is out right now except you're actually immersed in a truly first person perspective. I played London Heist and the game started in a getaway sequence when the character has to fire on vehicles that are pulling along side your vehicle as your hauling butt down the freeway. Every movement you make matters in the game. I had to reach for a glove box that was in this vehicle I was sitting in and reach in to grab a pistol. Then I had to reach in and grab a magazine and make the motions as if I was really placing a mag inside the gun that I was holding. I was ducking and moving side to side as my vehicle took several rounds and at one point I was reaching for another magazine to reload my gun when I accidentally dropped the dang mag because I was in such a hurry to get it loaded!
I had to reach down to the floor and look for my the magazine that I dropped and pick it up while I was still being shot at! How is that for realism! The depth was amazing and left me wanting more. I tried other modes in the game that required that I utilize cover by ducking and weaving etc. It was truly impressive. The possibilities of this system are endless and I get way too excited when I think what something like this would add to a game like Fallout 4 or The Division or even an MMORPG (like Sword Art Online = the whole dying irl thing).
As I true gamer that plays on a high end self built PC, owns a PS4, Xbox1, a Wii U, a 3DS etc, I can say that this truly excites me. I may even pick up the Occulus Rift. This system coming out isn't about whether PS4 is better than Xbox1. Who cares what someone else prefers! Unless you own stock in the company you shouldn't be a mindless cheer leading drone trying to tear down the other system just because you don't own one. A real gamer appreciates ALL systems and ALL games because they all have their positives and negatives.
This system is worth the money. I do wish there was a larger amount of titles to expect but that will come with time. I've also done the math and you can get the extras for a pretty cheap price if you don't want the bundle but ultimately the bundle is the better deal for convenience and not having to settle for second hand hardware.
Hope this helps you all make a decision.
