Very Impressed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get a hands-on with the headset in the end of June and was very impressed. I tried two games, Eve Valkyrie and Headmaster, a soccer game and both were amazing. I'll let you look up the videos on each, but the device was able to handle everything without any issues. I thought about doing an in depth review, but really, other people have already done that. Basically, the device works great. I wear two different glasses, one minimal and the other larger and I had no issues with either. I was also able to correct the focus to work with my glasses. I like that you wear your own headphones or earbuds. The controller felt natural, the cable was out of the way and didn't bug me. The headset didn't feel to heavy. The only real negative was there was a tiny bit of light that crept through pulling you out of the experience and since the device is running on a 3+ year old system, it can only handle 720p per eye, meaning you can see the pixels and they act as a screen door effect. All in all, it worked amazingly well, especially for the price. I know that the Vive and Rift are better, but this system all in is only $800 and a computer VR system will run you at least $1,500. If you can afford them, get them, but the price of this is well worth it.

Good Enough for the First Gen VR for Console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PSVR is changing the way we game on console. VR has been available on PC and Mobile but now console gets to shine in the limelight. This VR headset is easy to setup and there are plenty of games to choose from. The bundle also comes with the new PS Camera and the motion controllers. A demo disc and PSVR worlds is included and it plays very smoothly. The resolution is okay but nothing mind shattering. I did experience a bit of nausea playing games where you are constantly moving such as the Luge Race or Driveclub VR, The best games to play for PSVR are the ones that use the motion controller. You feel much more immersed into the VR world. The PSVR will work on any PS4 system and requires a small download. It is extremely fun since your friends can view what you're viewing on the bigi screen and some games allow multiplayer(one player with a headset and another using the dualshock controller). Very good purchase! If you decide to buy have fun!

For Early Technology, Excellent!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TLDR at bottom I've only used Playstation VR a couple of times at the time of writing this review, and this is the first time I've experienced any sort of VR. There are quite a few cables and connections required for setup, but the quick start guide made it very quick and easy to set up and once it's set up it's quick and easy to pick up and play. Pretty much any audio headset with a 3.5mm headphone port can be easily plugged into PS VR, it feels very light and comfortable to wear. Mine is set up in a small room that does not quite meet the recommended ranges and distances for the most accurate detection for the camera, yet it still works very good, with a slightly noticeable improvement in larger rooms. I did however, start to experience a form of motion sickness after about 2 hours of consistent gameplay and also noticed that games where your character is constantly moving in all directions like Driveclub vr, Battlezone, and Scavenger's odyssey tended to make me experience motion sickness faster or more frequently. VR motion sickness actually works in reverse to regular motion sickness, so I'd be willing to bet that people will be able to develop a tolerance for it just like I've developed a tolerance to the 3D feature on Nintendo 3DS systems to the point that I often forget I'm viewing in 3D. I feel like the quality of resolution and refresh rate / frame rate could be of better quality as these factors are known to influence VR motion sickness There are already a bunch of games that support Playstation VR and more AAA titles on the way. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, just that I wouldn't personally recommend this to a friend because I think that this is very early VR technology even for Sony, and the price isn't very affordable for a piece of hardware that's just an accessory, but as far as VR Headsets go, this is probably the cheapest decent quality one you will find. I would recommend waiting 6 months to a year for the price to drop a bit, or longer for if Sony releases a better version of this product. TLDR: Excellent product, easy and comfortable to use, Definitely room for improvement but amazing quality for price and how early this technology is, expect motion sickness, but also expect to develop a tolerance to it after continued use, plenty of titles available for PS VR and plenty more to come. Also works fine in small rooms.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was blown away at how good this was. I was skeptical due to the horsepower of the PS4 not matching top notch gaming pcs that can run the likes of oculus and vive. I had tried a HTC vive and it was great. Again I didn't know if Sony could pull it off. I'm happy to say they did. The level of immersion and detail in the graphics is fantastic. It'll be an experience you won't soon forget. Setup is easy and there is a great demo disc so you can dip your toes Into just about all the launch games to see what you want to play. There are also a number of free games/apps on the PSN. There are multiple VR video apps that let you sit in the middle of a herd of lions or ride a roller coaster at top speed. As for the motion sickness. It's really not bad. If you're a seasoned gamer it won't affect you as much. It didn't affect me as much. You can tell it's there on certain experiences. It wears off the more your mind and body get used to the experience. I recommend this headset and think it stands toe to toe with the more expensive pc vr headsets. Enjoy and game on.

A whole new way to game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This PSVR bundle comes with the PSVR headset, two move controllers, the PS4 camera, VR Worlds game (a game with a handful of short experiences to show of the VR games), also comes with a demo disc containing around 15 demos to try out. This thing is crazy. It actually works! You can't understand what it looks like or feels like just watching videos of people play this or describe it. You have to experience this for yourself. You are in the game world, the characters look life size and you can reach out and grab things and interact with items in the worlds. The headset is actually really light and sits on your head very well, not weighing down on the bridge of your nose at all. You can wear your glasses inside if you have them. The tech works by tracking lights on the HMD (head mounted display) to track your movement in the game world. This works 99% of the time and there may be some hitches but it usually has to do with you moving out of the cameras sight or bad lighting in your play area. For the price, the current cheapest VR headset on the market, this thing is amazing! Pick it up and invite some friends over and have a blast. This is the first step in changing what gaming will become in the future. Be a part of it!

Cheaper VR alternative than Oculus Rift
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the choice for VR glasses if you have a PS4, its cheaper then the Oculus Rift and no need for a gaming PC. The VR setup is light and very comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. Beware of getting motion sickness after playing for long periods of time. It might not be a problem for everyone. Hopefully there will be more games available soon that will take advantage of the VR glasses on the PS4. But the initial games available are good enough to use the VR glasses.

PS VR is awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Put on the PS VR headset and the earbuds and enter a new world. You lose track of where you are in the real world. Move your head around, look above, below and behind you to see a new world and your surroundings. Saw no lag in the world. You may look weird to the real world, but to you, it is totally immersive. Bought Batman ARkham VR. intro starts on top of a building. See the railing in front of you, taker a step forward and look down to th street below. I have a VR headset for my phone and it is good, but not like the PS VR. 2 downsides to the VR, 1 - cables hanging from it, hinders movement, but you shouldn't be walking around alot with this (compared to a phone VR headset), 2- not a lot of games utilize the VR, but i am sure that will change quickly.

Q: QuestionWill ALL preorders ship? Most preorders on other sites sold out quickly. Will all the preorders on BB be delivered when the PlayStation VR is released ?
Asked by Dark.
- A:Answer If BB doesn't fulfill pre-orders (ship on release date) they should not allow customers to continue pre-ordering knowing they cannot fulfill all of them on Day 1. That yellow pre-order button should show out of stock instead if that is the case. I imagine a lawsuit may be filed if they continue to mislead consumers as they are indicating you can still 'Preorder' the device. Preorder indicates reserving your spot on the first day it's release and should be shipped or delivered on the release date.

Q: QuestionIs there a Playstation VR Launch Bundle that doesn't include camera and move controllers?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You will need to Pre-Order the Core Edition which is available on the 29th of March (7am Pacific Time) which only includes the PlayStation VR. Hope this helps
Answered by Eduardo
Q: QuestionStill accepting preorders, but will they ship?I ordered mine from Amazon and they sold out in 7 minutes. Almost 4 hours later BB is still accepting preorders?? There are only 300k units available total at first so no way is everyone that bought from BB will get one on release day.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Best Buy have been known to do this. If that's the case I surely will be miffed and probably go elsewhere.

Q: QuestionYou guys answered that it doesn't charge until it ships.. My discover card for charged the full amount.I noticed a few times this has been asked people responded with it not charging until it ships. However I got hit with the fill amount just now.. Why? It even triggered my fraud alert on my card.

- A:Answer They will put a hold on the funds right away. To verify the funds are there and available. Also to verify it is a functioning account. This hold should drop off in a day or so. Nothing to worry about.

Q: QuestionWHAT GAMES WILL BE COMPATABLE WITHWILL THE VR BE COMPATABLE WITH SPORTS GAMES FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS
Asked by J DUB.
- A:Answer Tip for the future, people don't usually even bother reading questions typed in all caps, let alone answering them. I don't mind this, but just wanted to give a pro-tip for the future as it will be helpful to you. Anyways, to answer you actual question, PS VR has over 200 or so games being developed for it, and many more will most likely be developed soon enough. Especially if it sells well like it seems it is doing, with pre-orders selling out almost immediately. For a list of games, there are various websites that will help you with that. Here is one of said lists: http://www.ign.com/wikis/playstation-4/List_of_PS4_Games_Compatible_With_PlayStation_VR As a side note, I am fairly certain that you can play every Playstation game with the VR headset, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can play those games in 3D. The PS VR just has a mode that lets you view all images/ videos on it. A more specific answer to your question, certain games such as the newer Star Wars Battlefront, (a first and third person shooter,) are going to be made to work with PS VR in 3D. So for games that already exist, it just depends on the developers and their willingness to translate their games into 3D. Tl;Dr: Yes, there will most certainly be FPS games, at least, on the PS VR. Star Wars Battlefront is not even the only one announced already either.

Q: QuestionCan you hook up two of these in one ps4?Are you able to play local multiplayer with two hooked up or is it only 1 for each ps4?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No, only one PSVR is allowed per console at this time, as it is very expensive on resource usage.
Answered by m1ster1nd1go
Q: QuestionPre-Order SupplyWhy is it all the other retailers have this item sold out however BB still accepts pre-orders? I sure hope BB does not mislead and oversell orders they cannot guarantee will ship on release date? If so, this will be the last time I order from BB and I imagine others will not be to happy as well.
Asked by PS User.
- A:Answer Only Best Buy and Gamestop are even listed as sellers of the Playstation VR from Playstation's own website. I could only assume that means they are getting the vast majority of available stock and simply haven't run out of available units yet.
