Soothing Sleep
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are very thin and comfortable. I had no problem sleeping with them. They are very secure and comfortable in my ears, more so than the other earbuds that I own. The earbuds come with seven pairs of ear tips and three sizes of ear wings. These earbuds are so secure, lightweight, and comfortable that I do not worry about losing one. The battery life is very long. The case is also extremely nice, the lid slides open to reveal the earbuds which are magnetically attached to the case. The magnet is very strong, so the earbuds stay in place. The earbuds fit into slots which match the shape of the earbuds so there is no confusion as to which slot is used to hold which earbud. The soundcore application works well with the earbuds. The first time that I opened the application it paired with the earbuds and then did a firmware update. Once in the application you have the option to run in Bluetooth mode or Sleep mode. Bluetooth is just like every other earbud. The sleep mode will play soothing sounds for the period you set, either until you fall asleep or all night. The sleep mode sounds are downloadable via Bluetooth, there are several to choose from. You can have four different sounds in your library at a time. By having the sleep sounds downloaded to the earbuds, you extend the battery life from 14 hours to 80 hours.

Easily the best earbuds I've ever used
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I found out that Soundcore was coming out with an updated version of their Sleep Earbuds I was ecstatic! I have been using the A10 version since they came out and despite them being designed for sleep, they have been my go to headphones for all situations since I got them. For the past week I have been putting the A20 to the test and I am just as happy with them as I have been with the A10. Soundcore has these Sleep Earbuds absolutely dialled in, and they exceed my expectations in just about every category. As far as sound quality, I'd consider myself an audiophile and I have zero complaints about these. They have the perfect balance of base, clarity, treble, etc, and I did not have to make any adjustments out of the box via the Soundcore app. Where I think these earbuds excel the most is their comfort. They are so comfortable and so ergonomic, I believe that's what makes them my go to headphones. For sleep they are amazing, you really do not feel them at all when laying on your side. The A10 version has saved me several times on vacations where I could not get peaceful sleep without earbuds and I know these A20s will do the same as they are somehow even more comfortable than the A10. Not only are these great for sleep though, I have also been using them while cutting the lawn, sitting at my desk at work, at the gym, and just walking around the house. Since they are so small, light, and have a low profile they are perfect for anything. I have never had one get loose or fall out while working out or bouncing around on the riding lawn mower. I also feel pretty inconspicuous wearing these at work since they do not stick out from the side of my head at all. I can wear them for my whole 8-10 hour shift and no one even notices them in, and they are comfortable enough to leave in that long as well, they are in right now and I hardly feel them. The only thing that comes with the small size is a shorter battery life. I have found that I cannot get a full 8 or even 10 hours out of the earbuds before they start alerting me of a low battery. Fortunately they charge pretty quick when you pop them back into their case. But honestly that is my only minor complaint I have about these earbuds is the lack luster battery life, but I do find the tradeoff of battery life for the low profile size to be worth it. I really cannot recommend Soundcores sleep earbuds enough, I have quite a few options of earbuds to pick from but my go to is always these.

The Best Sleeping Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Anker Sleep A20 earbuds are simply the best earbuds for sleeping. I’ve tried other brands and none have come close. I have used the A10 every night for a very long time and the A20 offer some improvements. The A20s are extremely comfortable. The new wing style is perfect, just enough to add stability. They allow for you to sleep on your side without any discomfort. They are not active noise cancelling, but I’ve found these earbuds combined with a white noise machine work amazing together. They are easy to pair with the app or just with bluetooth. The app does allow for some customization, like a sleep timer to shut them off after X minutes. You can also use that time to switch from music to white noise. The new case is slightly smaller than the previous version, which will be great for traveling. It has a nice organic shape and color, and easily slides open. The earbuds snap into place with magnets and are very easy to put in and take out. The biggest improvement has been to battery life. 14 hours on a single charge, and up to 80 with the case. This is huge. They charge over USB Type C. Simply put, these are the best earbuds for sleeping.

So tiny!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a regular pair of Bluetooth headphones, these are honestly pretty mid. Without much of anything that sets them apart from other Bluetooth headphones in or out of the Soundcore brand. Is what I would say if they weren't absolutely tiny! These are meant for helping you sleep, and they focused on a design for side sleepers that minimizes that "I have something in my ear" feeling if you've ever laid on your side with normal ear buds in. And while it's a perfect design for its intended purpose it's also amazing for wearing under a motorcycle helmet for on the road tunes or turn by turn navigation. The intended purpose is for wearing while you sleep as a combination earplugs, and white noise generator. And they work fine for that, it lets you customize and load to the earbuds a few different white noise patterns, my current favorite is a combination of thunderstorm, crackling fire, and light piano playing. It's relaxing and when you get the volume right combined with the fairly decent noise isolation of the winglike eartips it blocks most of the outside world out and puts you in a nice relaxing soundscape. Controlled via an app on your phone, it also includes a sleep reminder to keep you on your sleep schedule, and an alarm function as well. A Usefull function because the earbuds disconnect from your phone to save power so that they can last the whole night using onboard storage for your alarm and sleep sounds.

Much better than the A10 and Oslo Sleep
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the original standard of the Bose Sleepbuds. I loved them. But they eventually failed. Best Buy gave me credit back on my purchase and i bought the Soubdcore A10 as they were really the only option available. They were OK but the life of the battery was horrible. Maybe 5-6 hours. Then there were two possible solutions on Kickstarter. The Bose engineers left and started a company called Oslo and their first product Oslo Sleep. They are over $250 in price and I backed the project in fall 2023. They finally arrived in April 2024. During this extended wait the Soundcore A20s were announced and also a Kickstarter for about half the price. Very similar features and they arrived within days on the Oslo Sleep. Functionally i prefer the A20. They stay in sleep mode all night and the battery life had been greatly improved. Whereas the Oslo will jump out and back into sleep mode, which usually wakes me up.

As advertised.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As advertised, and using the timer I have actually slept thru the night. Next pair will need to have sound deadening though. Snoring still gets through on these.

Very uncomfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Soundcore Sleep A20 Bluetooth Earbuds are advertised as being designed for sleep. Just not for me. The earbuds have a charging/storage case that I found to be too slippery and cumbersome to handle. It comes with an incredibly short 10 inch charging cable making it fairly useless for me. There are 3 sizes of what are called wings and tips that slip onto the earbuds so you can get a comfortable fit. However, the actual body of the earbuds are oddly shaped and stick out of the rubber cover putting pressure on parts of the small flaps of my ears. Ouch! The Soundcore has the ability to connect to an app that had multiple white noise selections that help with relaxing so you can sleep and it also monitors your sleep to give you stats. I much prefer podcasts or music to fall asleep but I did give a quick try to a few of the sounds. I was less than satisfied with the "white noise" selections for sleep mode because most all were water based. The windchimes one was ok. Soundcore does allow you to use the earbuds as you would any other earbud through bluetooth. To configure the earbuds in a variety of ways, not to mention downloading new firmware, you must connect to the app. The buds have the capability of being tapped to adjust sound level for music or to switch to sleep mode. I am a side sleeper and I found the buds to be uncomfortable. The buds were cutting in, out and echoing when I rolled over. The simple act of resting my hand or arm near my ear changed/turned off settings. I had to go into the app and turn off all the tap settings so they didn't accidently trigger. I tried 5 nights in a row, but a can't wear these for sleeping. They are fine as just earbuds for an hour or so for music but I have to remove them because the hardness of the buds hurt my ears. In addition they tell you how all sound is locked out. I found it to be quite the opposite. It seemed like it made the outside even louder. I did try a different combination of the wings and tips. Nothing helped. These buds are advertised as Sleep earbuds. I've been on a quest for the perfect sleep earbuds. These didn't qualify. The search continues.
