Disappointed. Not worth buying it

I feel the Tomtom 1400 and 1500 series are better navigation devices. Wanted to return this but I've lost the receipt. Don't spend your money on this device.

Posted .Hi there Ikecal. We’re really sorry you didn’t get a great first impression of our GO 60. It certainly doesn’t sound right that a brand new product has been acting very slowly. But I’d just like to confirm, was this the time taken for the software to load or to find GPS signal? Also, if the software is being glitchy that would suggest to me that there’s a problem with the software. Have you tried installing any updates? I’d really love to work with you on this. The worst GPS I ever had

I always buy the warranty yet they very rarely last more than a year. Now being 54 I thought the large screen would help. But this is the most dysfunctional GPS ever. No route preview. You have to install a program on your phone to get traffic. You can't just enter an address more than 50 miles away ECT simply a step backwards in GSP. I am a road warrior 4 days a week and this completely stinks. Returning tomorrow do not buy this unit they would not let me use my words here but REALLY DON'T BUY THIS OR ANOTHER TOMTOM PRODUCT MY 2ND ONE AND AWFUL HOPE THEY LET ME PUT THAT DOWN.

Posted .I am sorry to read that the GO has not met your expectations and you decided to return it. I would like to address some of the issues that you brought up for the sake of other customers. Regarding the route preview - we wanted to let drivers keep their eyes on the road and have their turn by turn navigation through the voice. We have underestimated the demand for a visual overview and we are currently looking into bringing this feature back. As for the search radius - it is possible to search beyond a 50 mile radius, all you have to do is to change the search parameters from "Near Me to "Whole Map" on the top right of the search menu screen. I'm sorry that this was not immediately obvious to you.
