I first purchased a Garmin to replace my TomTom VIA 1605 that quit working. Garmin sucks, so I took it back and exchanged for TomTom GO 60 S. It works great but in my opinion is not as good as the 1605 that I replaced.

Easy to read but not accurate with some destinations. Volume at highest is still low.

I would recommend it seems to be working fine in the usa and mexico. the only thing is that you do have to read the manual.

Tom Tom takes 2 steps backwards with this new gps. The larger screen and 3d maps are the highlights of this gps, but it falls short in several other areas. Unlike past iterations, the traffic updates aren't free for lifetime and require a subscription. You also must use your cellular phone for traffic services to work, incurring additional fees for data. The voices I purchased on my past Tom Tom aren't downloadable to this gps, so that is another disappointment. Also, routes aren't programmable ahead of time on the computer (that I can find) and when the gps reroutes, it gives COMPLETELY different routes, rather than making subtle adjustments (ie a bridge instead of a tunnel). If I could do it again, I wouldn't. I'd just stick with my old Tom Tom.

I would rate it over all Good, there was some features that I like from my old GPS that this model didn't have...such Time, miles traveled and the prices of gas at the gas stations along the way. It also wasn't as user friendly in the menu but I did like the satellite option and how big the screen was.

Bought this unit for a recent road trip and I was satisfied. Works just like it should. Good selection of voice options. Screen brightness was great at night and on a bright sunny day. This was my only concern when reading other reviews but I did not have any issues. Only complaint is that I wish the volume was a bit louder, even on the highest setting it is still fairly quiet if you have a radio on or any background noise. All in all I would buy it again, the price was perfect.

Only had issue with my trip to Canada, some roads in the northern hump of quebec have changed, and were not updated on the Tom Tom. Other than that, it was great. Much better mounting options for dash or window.

Needed for my business, wanted something bigger than usual. Well, this fits the bill. Screen is massive and clear. My only complaint on the product is the mount. The mount is fantastic and sticks well. The locking mechanism is a bit cumbersome though do to the size of the screen. Works as it should, even better than I expected. But for pulling out of vehicle to deter thieves, not a simple task.

Love this Tom Tom! More accurate at turns than the gar min I had and doesn't say the annoying word 'recalculaing" but it changes your direction as it should.

This is the GPS for you if you're looking for something a level higher than 'simple'. It has the features you'll need but the interactivity (pressing buttons on the screen) is not buttery smoother - lag...

First off I want to say don't look at the bad reviews they're all when it first came out and it had bugs in the system Tom Tom has fixed all the bugs this is the perfect best GPS money can buy on the market hands-down just went on a trip to Florida told me about all the traffic accidents how to get around them saved me about three hours I love this GPS

My sister has a TOMTOM navigation before and it's really easy to use. But now she moved in LA and I'm stucked with my iphone. I'm from SF and if I visit her there driving, my data will probably eat all of my plan. So I decided to buy a GPS for myself. This one is very easy to use, bigger screen compared from the previous models, 3D, and very user friendly.

This item is a good beginner GPS has 3d maps and multiple audio choices. You can choose who speaks with you. Also has lifetime map updates. Good item for someone who uses GPS in the city.

To update the software and maps takes a lot of time and expertise. If you are someone who doesn't know how to use a computer; it will not be easy. I'm saying that because I bought for my mother in law, and she doesn't know how to update and so on. This GPS was bought to substitute the cellphone, which she doesn't know how to use the internal GPS with google maps. So thinking in something easier for her, I bought this TOM TOM.

This is the best Tom Tom I have owned; however, kind of disappointed because my android phone is non-detectable on the Tom Tom App.

I purchase this unit because of its large screen and so I could use my smart phone for calls; There is nothing worse than getting a call and missing all of your turns forcing you to drive miles out of your way. While the screen size is great, everything else awful. The window suction cup assembly doesn’t stay attached to the unit and it falls off several times a day (between the GPS unit and the bracket, not the glass and the bracket). The USB power connection has an intermittent problem and I am on my third USB charge cord. Many times while I am driving down the road, the unit shuts down randomly because of this. The software is horrible as well! If you’re in a hurry, don’t buy this unit! It takes 10-15 minutes for it to find an address. I know, slow processor to keep a competitive price point but you went too cheap. Often I must use my iPhone and Google Maps to get started quickly. Updating the maps takes more than 4 hours and I have a 200 mbps internet connection! The Mobile app won’t stay connected to the main GPS unit either. In conclusion, nothing is good about this unit and I now use my phone’s GPS more often because when I need the GPS, TomTom doesn’t work. I will never buy another TomTom.

Wife went out of town for work and is directionally challenged (being nice). Got this for her, worked beautifully. Only two issues with it, 1-speaker is really low even at full volume (supposedly will be fixed in new firmware upgrade) 2- live traffic requires direct link to cellphone. Easy to use and computer/app companion is helpful.

I am a senior citizen and the very large 6 inch screen makes it very easy to read and operate I'm very glad that I bought this product
