Not For Me -- Garmin Much Better Choice

The Tom Tom is frustrating, difficult to program and does not let you give a title to the address. I gave up and went back to the Garmin. My husband used the Tom Tom and he doesn't like it either. We should have bought another Garmin. Disappointing!

Trouble not attaching to windshield

Horrible Traffic Alert System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purpose of buying a GPS for me is the benefit of a traffic alert system, the idea is to be alerted of traffic with enough time to avert the problem. It turns out the TomTom system tells you about traffic and then steers you into it. I am naturally able to navigate,, great sense of direction. It took me 1 trip to know this system wasn't worth the time it took to take it out of the box and was returned for a Garmin.

Because prices and features vary substantially, I spent a huge amount of time deciding what I really needed and the best bang for the buck. The TomTom via1515 was the perfect choice. The screen is sufficiently large and the directions are spot on down to the smallest detail. This GPS is very easy to use. I highly recommend this product to a new GPS user or to anyone wanting to upgrade to a new model.
