That could be due to placement. Please make sure the extender is between the main router and where you want service to be extended too. You will also want to place it in an open and unobstructed area with a strong signal from the router. If it is in such a location then please contact TP-Link Support at 866-225-8139.

Not having stable signal

I started loosing wifi call signal after using this extender wifi. Switching to original wifi was working fine. Checking on speed test, it never give me optimal wifi strength.

DOESN'T WORK THROUGH BLOCK WALLS

This unit would not extend through my cinder block walls. I had to return it and the tech installed one that sent the WIFI through 110 wiring in the house.

So I have to unplug it every time it happens in order for it to reboot and regain signal. Also, it's not easy to get into the configuration page. Keeps on recommending so many solutions that none of it actually work. Not the best extender for me.
