All 3 have the same ports so any of them can be a router. You just have to connect to your Internet modem and it will figure everything out. Syncing was automatic. A huge upgrade from my google mesh.

Internet connection randomly drops. Frequent reboots to get the system to work. It appears to be a wide spread issue based on what I’m seeing in the forums. TP Link hasn’t updated the firmware in over a year and don’t seem to really be actively supporting the product. Would not recommend. It’s too late for me to return this system and I just bought an Asus system to replace this one.

Its firmware is actively developed, and we're happy to inform you that a new firmware release was made available just a few days ago (5/31/24) for hardware versions V2 and V2.6. We recommend checking for firmware updates in your Deco app and installing the update if available.

Thought of giving this product a try I’m extremely happy with it and never going back to Netgear for sure. Just buy this you will not regret the purchase.
