Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Sonic-Fusion 2.0's superior cleaning capabilities, particularly around the gum line and implants, and its ease of use. Many appreciate the combined brushing and flossing functionality, although some find the brush head size to be small. While the water pressure is impressive to many, concerns exist regarding battery life and the noise level at higher speeds.

Waterpik Sonic Fusion 2.0 a bad choice

I have used the standard Water Pik for years. Decided to upgrade so I purchased the Waterpik-Sonic-Fusion 2.0. This was a bad mistake. It does not remove all particles between teeth, nor do my teeth feel clean even after using it with a full tank of water. I keep going back to my old model to ensure I have totally cleaned my teeth. I'll purchase an upgrade of the old style when I have the funds. This does not perform as it is described in the brochure or the ads.

Hello Cowgirl - We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the product. The toothbrush portion provides 30,000 brush strokes per minute and has been proven to be effective. This model carries a 60-day money-back guarantee. We would be happy to help with this. Please call us at 1-(800) 525-2774.

So far, I am pleased with the results of the toothbrush and I like the convenience of the water pick. The only thing I would like to see is a model that comes with 2 toothbrushes.

My dentist hygienist had recommended this and I was so excited to get this all-in-one. I love that I can floss and brush my teeth at the same time. I am definitely saving time in the mornings before heading off to work. I would sometimes forgo the flossing because I didn’t feel I had enough time, but this makes it so much faster and easier. Now I will never miss a day flossing. In the evenings I just have to brush my teeth. Now I can get rid of my Waterpik and electric toothbrush, as this takes up less space on the bathroom vanity. This device is really easy to use. It only uses one outlet instead of using one for each item and you have that extra outlet now for other things like electric shavers, hair dryers, etc. I feel you can never have enough outlets in your bathroom. This comes with only one toothbrush head. If there is more than one person wanting to use this, you will need to purchase more heads to accommodate them. This flosser/toothbrush combo has buttons for brushing, flossing or you have the option of pressing both buttons to do both things at the same time. Make sure to fill the water tank with warm water to use the water flosser part of this. The first time using the Waterpik flosser you will need to prime the water as directed and to me the rest is rather self explanatory. After using this, it feels almost as if I had just been to the dentist for a cleaning. To me there is no better feeling than this. It definitely takes a little getting used to when using both the flosser and brush at the same time because water is always releasing from the toothbrush flossing part and running slowly out of your mouth. I simply put the toothpaste on the brush and brush around a bit to start and then turn on the flosser with the toothbrush part and let them both brush and floss together. I found that if you use most of the water from using both brushing/flossing you don’t have to rinse out your mouth. Just use your favorite mouthwash and you are done. Let’s just say, I LOVE this!

So far, so good. It’s a little noisier than my previous brush but not a problem. Strong water flow is getting out those last little bits of food, and brush is working fine also.

Bought this for my husband as a gift. He absolutely loves that he can brush his teeth and use a water pik at the same time. He also loves how long it holds a charge.

I never got to use it. I followed the instructions of testing the floss feature and it never worked. I wouldn't recommend spending 150 on an item to have it not work and then having to deal with the hassle of returning it

    A Nice Improvement

I’ve been using another sonic toothbrush for a while now and have tried the original Sonic Fusion in the past but felt the vibrations were considerably slower. The Sonic Fusion 2.0 improves on the speed and gives you two speed choices. The unit comes with a compact head but full-sized heads are available. I would have liked it if it included one of each size brush head. Like most electric toothbrushes the Sonic Fusion has a two minute timer and signals every 30 seconds to change brushing locations. The clean feels almost as good as a trip to the dentist. The unit comes with a travel case for the brush which can be used without the water flosser. Waterpik’s information says the brush charge lasts for 30 minutes so traveling for more than a couple of weeks would require you to pack the whole unit which is a little cumbersome. I like that this combines the features of a Waterpik flosser along with the toothbrush. There are three modes, brushing, flossing and both brushing and flossing. The pressure on the flosser is adjustable to your liking and it does a good job of removing food from between your teeth although it is a bit messy, however this is no different than using a Waterpik from the past. Overall I really like the convenience of using just one device to brush and floss. I give the Waterpik Sonic Fusion 2.0 five stars and would recommend it to a friend.

Purchased the Sonic Fusion 2.0 from Best Buy for my wife for Christmas. When I set it up I did NOT work directly out of the box. Call and contact Waterpik and they stalled me long enough that I couldn’t return it to Best Buy! Still haven’t received a credit or replacement. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! JUNK JUNK JUNK!
