Good Len...So good....I'm absolutely in love with the photos this lens allows me to capture, but if you are looking at lenses, keep in mind that this lens does not have the option to zoom in and out....The downside is that you can't zoom in or out so it gets annoying having to move around a lot but the lens is mainly designed for that blurry background setting so for its purpose its great.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens: Capture important moments in your life with this standard lens, which works with your compatible Canon DSLR EF-mount camera. A circular aperture with 7 blades helps you add creative background blur.
Love it!...Good lens...Since Best Buy informed me in "microscopic" print that signatures are required for delivery, I spent half the night chasing down the UPS guy to get my lens.....but so happy I did!...This classic lens has a fast maximum aperture that is ideal for everyday shooting, perfect in low lighting situations and great for producing images with beautiful background blur.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: A perfect everyday lens for any photographer, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G offers fast autofocusing combined with an integrated lens coating to deliver clear and crisp images. The wide-open aperture is ideal for low-light shooting and creating images with beautiful background blur.
Great one...Must buy...This lens on the D3200 body received a score of 24 on DXOmark- the website compared to 12 for the 18-55 lens and in general just seems to get more out of the scene and more out of the camera and i'm sure would do better on higher end DX body's....After I upgraded my nikon d3100 to a d3300 I started reading lots of reviews telling me to get a 50mm lense for Sharp photos and these reviews were right except for 1 thing, on a camera with a crop sensor 50 is closers to 75mm due to crop factor and 35 is really close to 50.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: Whether you're a beginner or professional, you'll love this compact, lightweight lens from Nikon. The normal angle of view captures approximately what the human eye sees, making it a great all-around lens. Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
Thank you...Love it...I was able to take some decent night sky shots using this lens, and was lucky enough to have it for some very clear and pretty Aurora Borealis shots....So I definitely do not recommend it for landscape shooting inclement weather, but for nice weather (like Los Angeles all year round) or indoor photography, this is a great lens to consider.
With an STM (stepping motor) and focus mechanism, this Canon EF-S 9519B002 zoom lens allows you to record ultrasharp videos or capture crisp photos using your compatible Canon camera. The UD lens element helps you take highly realistic images.
Great lend...Nice Kens...It might be a little lacking for pros or very experienced amateur photographers, but if you're still a relatively casual photographer like myself, this is a huge step up from the kit lens, and combined with the 50mm 1.8 and a decent zoom lens, it's a great option to get a nice range of focal lengths covered....After using a heavy 70m-200m lense this is a piece of cake...Wish I would have had this lense earlier this fall....can't wait to use for landscapes....
Capture stunning images of wide perspectives with this Canon 9522B002 EF-S wide-angle lens that features an aspheric lens element for high image quality from the center to the edges. The circular, 7-blade aperture delivers soft backgrounds.
Works well...Great lens!...I do a lot of candid portraits, landscape, event pics and, while it doesn't do anything magical, it does take crisp, clean photos at full 15mp/RAW with little to no distortion....Now I can carry this pancake lens in my pocket, and when packing the gear into a small bag use it instead of a camera body cap, while having the camera ready for a surprise opportunity.
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Standard Lens: This standard Canon lens offers high-quality image capturing in a small, lightweight lens body, making it a great companion in crowds and public spaces. Its versatile features and easy portability make it especially suited for basic travel, portraits and memento shots.
Very good!...Great Range...The 18mm wide angle gives you the option for sweeping panoramas, and the 200mm zoom (especially when combined with the ability of the Nikon D7100 to do a 1.3x crop, making the effective range over 250mm) is a very nice telephoto to have....If you're not in need of 300mm zoom and fine with occasionally using some digital cropping to enhance zoom, the Nikon 18-200 is a worthy buy.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18–200mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR II Standard Zoom Lens: This powerful and versatile Nikon standard zoom lens is a great one-lens solution for DX-format DSLRs. Its wide angle to telephoto focal range gives photographers a flexible tool to get the shot without having to switch lenses.
Great lens!...Superb Lens...The combination of this lens with the D610 is quite heavy but very useful for a wide variety of photo opportunities....It's great for spur of the moment photos, I guess "snapshots" Great quality lense, for a definite manageable price.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28–300mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR Standard Zoom Lens: This lens lets you photograph a scene from multiple perspectives, whether you aim to capture the expanse of a bridge or the flight of a bird. The minimum focusing distance of 18 inches lets you can zero in close on your subjects. Its lightweight build and versatility make it an excellent lens for travel photography.
Good choice....Good Kit Lens...I find this lens to be perfectly suited for my needs, it does exactly what I expected and a price-point that's hard to beat for new equipment....It is my go to lens for sunrise shots and winter landscapes, extended to 85mm gives me a great tight shot when I need it.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24–85mm f/3.5–4.5G ED VR Standard Zoom Lens: This all-purpose zoom lens is ideal for amateur and professional photographers. The focal length covers a broad range, allowing you to snap stunning travel photos, portraits and close-ups. Tripod detection and vibration reduction help you create the sharpest images possible.
Great lens!...Great Len...Good lens for anyone that wants to portray something really close to the lens, but forget it if you want to take a picture, lets say from feet to head, it's really hard to get, because you have to calculate all the time if the image is getting blurry or not, and it just makes it really tedious....I recently got into DSLR filmmaking and totally ignored my colleagues' recommendation that I just buy a camera body without the sub-par quality kit lens.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light without needing a flash. It's excellent for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
I love it!...love it...Great lens for capturing wide-angle shots at concerts, although just a little short on reach if you want a close-up (unless you're on-stage)....The lens also zooms in what I consider to be the correct direction, at 70mm the lens is fully extended and at 24mm it is all tucked in.
Canon EF 24–70mm f/2.8L II USM Standard Zoom Lens: Built to handle the demands of professional use, this lens is durable as well as dust- and water-resistant. Fluorine coatings on the front and rear surfaces keep smudges and fingerprints to a minimum.
Fast Lens!...Great lense...For the price this is a great lens and I'd strongly recommend it over the f/1.8 version for both sharpness and distortion reasons....Why Best Buy, because there is found the "Best" price; and although the lens was not in the store, they were more than happy and took the time while I had them switch from screen to screen while I checked the specs vs the price.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G Standard Lens: Suitable for professional and amateur photographers, this is a great lens for travel, events, portraits and general purpose photography. Capture clear images in dim lighting without a flash with the wide-open aperture. Switch seamlessly from automatic to fine manual focusing so you can ensure every detail is spot on.
Nifty fifty...AMAZING Lens!...As much as I want to encourage everyone to buy this lens right away, let me mention some of the limitation that you would see (which I think will be helpful to go over before deciding to buy this lens) First, being a prime lens, you will need to move your feet a lot to compose your picture....I haven't had a problem with not having enough light with the huge aperture (1.8) and it really does look sharp and take great pictures.
Nikon AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D Standard Lens: The wide-open aperture of this versatile Nikon lens allows you to capture photos in most situations without a flash. Whatever you're shooting, you'll get consistently sharp results at dusk, dawn or even in dim indoor lighting. Weighing just 5.5 oz., it makes a convenient carry-around lens for shooting stills and video.
A great lens...Awesome lens...Apparently, the focus ring was loose which was causing front-back focusing problems, so they tightened it and calibrated the lens to my 40D and it works perfectly now....There is a lot varying reviews around the internet about the Canon 50mm f/1.2 but I am telling you, after moving from the 1.4 to the 1.2, there is a BIG difference in the sharpness and contrast in the 1.2 version.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light and without needing a flash. It is a perfect tool for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
Very Good...i love it...I have really enjoyed this lens since purchasing it and many people have asked me what kind of camera I use....This lens works great, but it is pricey almost like buying a new camera but no point of having two cameras with one lens.
Canon EF-S 18–200mm f/3.5–5.6 IS Standard Zoom Lens: An ideal lens for everyday use, this versatile lens can capture a gorgeous sunset to a spectacular fireworks show. This zoom lens suppresses chromatic aberrations while retaining true colors. And with the image stabilization to help reduce motion blur, you get extremely sharp pictures.
