Just What I Needed!!
I bought this for a DX camera so I can shoot High School basketball games. I am pretty close to the action so a zoom was not necessary! The 1.8 and the fact that its a Prime lens makes it an excellent choice. Putting this on the DX gave me about 127mm zoon and when shooting I choose JPEG which gives me even more FPS than if I was shooting raw. I have the option to crop in the camera as well. I love it!!

sharp prime
This lens is sharp even at wide open aperture. Color saturation is amazing and am happy with this choice. Sharpness extends to corners when stopping down to 4 , tack sharp from there on but at 1.8 it is great also. I had to return a lens because of severe color fringing but this copy is not suffering any and am happy with it.

My Go-To Lens
I absolutely LOVE this lens! It's amazing! Makes my job so much easier. The pictures are so clear! This lens definitely stepped up my photography game. If you do portraits, this lens is a MUST have in your collecting!
