Zoom is amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I'm still learning this camera, but I wanted to share an impressive set of photos to show how well the zoom works. The first photo I have circled the small weeping willow tree in yellow. The second photo is the same tree zoomed in 35X. I am happy with the camera so far, needs some practice to get the great shots, but so far, it's amazing!

Really like it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Definitely a big improvement over our old cameras and phone cameras. Pictures seem to come out clear even in low light conditions and at high speed. Recording video is also a breeze as it has a built in mic that pics up nominal sound.

worked ok for what i needed
||Posted .1st off- never been a camera guy. bought this for a nascar event. awesome pit pass shots. race view shots were just ok. could not get good burst shots. decent zoom shots. again not a camera person, so... video was good. seemed easy enough to use with the few hours i had to learn before the event. this purchase was a couple months ago already. i think i paid 170 or 180. i assume i got just a little more than what i paid for in a basic camera.

Great camera for beginners
||Posted .I think for the price this is a great camera for someone who is starting to get into photography. Images are very nice, and the zoom is amazing. Only thing I don't like is that is battery operated. But other than that is great.

Q: QuestionCOMPUTER INTERFACEHow do I get the camera & computer to talk to each other? Have connected USB cable but get no interaction.
Asked by TucsonBob.
- A:Answer Me too. Mine died when I plugged it in with the provided USB cable. Sony couldn't resolve the issue over the phone so we returned it. You'd think that a modern computer and a modern camera would be plug and play. Not.

Q: Questionis this camera for low light photo's or night shots? if so has anyone used this feature and provide me feedback for it
Asked by mcac0612.
- A:Answer Low light it is from a 6 out of 10. The pixel frames on the night shots aren't as great as you would hope and the editing would overcome with just so much work. Again I'm speaking from a outside perspective.

Q: Questioni bought SOny DSC-H300. I can’t set language, time and date. after entering this info and pressing OK, it says to go to Sony.Net for more info, that’s when I press ok and the camera switches off. I switch it back on and language, time date not saved.
Asked by lala.
- A:Answer Hi lala, Try to power reset the camera. Please remove the batteries for one full minute. Then re-insert the batteries and turn on the camera. Try to set the language, date and time again and see if the issue will be fixed. Make sure you are pressing the select button and nothing else saving your preferred setting. Regards, Vincent
