A: A new item is less likely to fail. I've got a ps4 (original) from a pawnshop at it works great. There are minor problems like it powering off on it's own. The overheating is tiresome and all. This is Geek Squad they fix computers all the time so a game system should be no issue.

Disappointed!!
I’ve always been wary of buying refurbished products online and this one just reminded me why. Figured it was a great deal at $299 which is $100 off..until I opened the box! Only thing inside was the PS4 console. It was missing the controller, power cord, hdmi cable, usb cable, and the headset! I returned it to the store and exchanged it for a new one. Geek Squad guy told me the refurbished items are packaged and shipped by Sony. They’re just sold on the Best Buy site. Thanks to Best Buy for some great customer service after the fact but somebody dropped the ball on this one!

It works fine for the price. Controller was very sticky and had to get another one. Store was very nice about it and gave store credit to get another one. Overall it’s a good deal and system

Even the used products work like new!
Bought this used PS4 and let me tell you,. it came in so fast! I plugged it in and when I say that it works as if it was new I mean it works as if it was new! I’m really pleased with Best Buy, I’ve never had any issues or problems with anything I bought and I absolutely love having access to the BestBuy mobile app so I can do all my shopping rite from my phone, very convenient!
