More (Truly Authentic) Classic Trek
This series resurrects the briefly-lived Original Series of Star Trek. Featuring the entire original bridge crew (minus Walter Koenig--Chekhov), it breathes life back into Gene Roddenberry's creation. The writing is top-notch for the era, bringing many of the Original Series writers back on board. Although it looks and feels very much like a cartoon, it behaves like the live-action classic.
This set is a quality DVD season, offering few bells and whistles, and delivering exactly what it promises. Worth the investment for any true Trek fan.

great set at a great deal
I've only seen the Animated Series a couple of times over the years, so it's nice to finally have a copy. This is an excellent transfer that looks fantastic. with beautiful packaging Sure, there are a couple of clunkers in here, but it's a great extension of the original series
